Loved it!
I loved this story! I couldn't put it down! Everything from the characters and plot to the twists and complete misunderstandings make it perfect! Honestly, my only complaint is about the cover (Andy is not properly presented on the cover), which should say something.Andy was my favorite character! I could completely relate to her. From the emotional responses to the internal thought processes, I was there with her the entire time.Blake was a great lead guy. He's got all of the male stuff like ego and carelessness in relationships but then he is also sensitive and lovable. I loved that he retained some mystery until the end but you still get to know him.Between the two of them, the romance was fantastic. The snarky banter and the clear truths were beautifully written and very real. There were some hot scenes too, but just enough to enhance the story and not so many that it was just smut. It had me laughing and my heartbreaking for them. The storyline was almost entirely character based, with very little happening outside of their relationship, whether as a boss and employee or boyfriend and girlfriend. Everything else was situational and not significant overall. That said Andy's sister Lacy was fantastic and I can't wait to read her story.Overall, a wonderful book that I will definitely be reading again. I would recommend it to anyone who loves romcoms because that is exactly what it is, in book form.

Blake Donovan Has Met His Match!
Miss Match was an excellent novel from the Laurelin McGee writing team! I enjoyed the storyline of Blake Donovan, a very wealthy businessman who hires Andrea Dawson (also known as Andy or Drea, depending on how Blake feels at the moment) to be his matchmaker and find him a suitable wife. He has his very specific list of requirements for a wife and Andy sets out to find his future bride. Little does he know that what he once thought he wanted in a wife is exactly the opposite of what he truly wants. Andy is a feisty little firecracker who is probably the only person to question him on everything he does and in doing so, she helps him learn more about himself and what he wants. Andy even discovers his secret loves of Downton Abbey, pinball machines, and Puppy! This novel is a beautiful love story that shows that even if you think you know what you want, there is that one person meant to be your match. I highly recommend this novel and look forward to more books from this writing team!

I'd watch this movie!
Going back through what I highlighted in this book it's quite apparent I have a thing for Blake...in all his dominating, alpha, assholey glory. I loved being inside of his head."Please let it be heartburn and not a fondness for the potential employee in front of him.""Did he just wink at her? That was strange. He never winked.""He looked as surprised as her at the giggle that came out of his mouth at that."This was a case where I loved the H and the h drove me a little batty, but together they were so enjoyable! The anticipation, the banter, the back and forth...gah!Miss Match is such a sweet, sexy, frustrating, funny, and romantic read...I could completely see this as a movie on the big screen!

there are parts that I really loved but then other parts that I found slightly boring
This book was a bit hit and miss for me, there are parts that I really loved but then other parts that I found slightly boring.I really wanted to like the characters and for the most part I liked Andy but I just didn't connect with Blake at all. I don't feel like as the reader we really got to know him properly... For a lot of the story he is pretending to be something he's not as he thinks that's what is going to attract the right kind of wife and although some of his guards come down, I still felt like he was holding back.I struggled quite a bit with this book, I found myself putting it down and picking it up again a couple days later (normally I finish a book in a day)All in all, I didn't hate this book but I didn't love it either. Its not something that I'm going to be raving about and I probably wont read the next book in this series. That said, I am a huge fan of Laurelin Paige (Hudson Pierce... Dayum!) and I will continue to look forward to her other books.

Fun story but the characters made no sense some of the time
3.5 stars. Cute and light hearted story. I started out thinking Blake Donovan was such a douche bag who was rather specific in his preferences in female partners. Nothing wrong with that, but wow, he was picky and offered very little in return. I liked how Andrea worked hard to bring out the vulnerable side of him, with her efforts to get to know him in order to search out suitable candidates for him. As the story went on, I realized that Blake is actually very likable and more sensitive and down to earth than he reveals. As for Andrea, she was fun and perceptive. I just found it odd in terms of their arrangement that they made while Blake was supposedly dating and how the two of them were even okay with those terms. Otherwise, I did like how Blake was immediately attracted to Andrea from the get go even though she was nothing like what he would've picked out in his mind. It just goes to show that chemistry can't be ignored no matter what kind of package the person presents him or herself in.

Thumbs Up...
Miss Match was a cool book that made me smile as I was reading some of the chapters. I like the manner in which the author portrays Blake's character. I love the ending and the dramatic flow of the story towards the end. However, my rating was only three stars because while I am happy I finished reading the book, the first few chapters failed to keep me curious to go ahead with the story. There was only a very little drama and sarcasm till the last few chapters.Author could have made a nice dramatic flow of the story by taking time to grab the reader's attention towards Andrea's jealousy attempts to ruin Blake's dates with Jane. There was a lack of emphasis on emotions and feelings until you reach the last few chapters. However, I must say I enjoyed reading the story despite the few drawbacks I just mentioned.Highly recommended for those who love to lose themselves in a book filled with romance.

Must read for laurelin Paige fans
Omg I absolutely adored this book. I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the first page. I kept going because I couldn't wait to find out what happens. The connection between Blake and Andy was obvious from the beginning. It was brilliant and did have some laugh out loud moments. All I'll say is the "cat" moment, brought tears to my eyes with laughter. I highly recommend this book. All laurelin Paige books are addictive and this one lives up. I'm never disappointed appointed reading any of her books. Enjoy.

Un-put-down-able!
I'm grinning from ear to ear, having just this second finished reading Miss Match - it's left me on a high! The humour and the progression of this pairing was perfectly balanced. The growth of the characters was well paced and, even though I knew what was coming, it was exciting to follow. I pretty much inhaled this book inside six hours. Max. Truly a joy to read and highly recommended.

What a wonderful comical romance
What a wonderful comical romance. Alex is very amusing with her thoughts about Mr B Donovan, as he is about his ideas of the ideal wife, and his needs. The other characters also flow and inhance the storyline. Lacy is a younger caring sister with hidden secrets. An enjoyable read
