Easy to change position without having to move the anchor point every time your exercise change
Like the ability to change positions with ease no fiddling around with move the anchor around one small point is having to retention the tightness of the strap after doing some heavy workouts

Simple but Useful Idea
Like many of us, I bought some resistance bands from Amazon at the beginning of April 2020 when the first Covid-19 lockdown had meant that the gym was out of bounds. The resistance bands, along with a number of home exercises, have proved very helpful at keeping me in reasonable shape, and I have kept them going instead of the gym as they have proved to be somewhat cheaper. I wanted this door anchor strap as it makes performing various different exercises targeting different muscle groups, very easy, simply use the anchor loops or stainless steel D rings to thread your bands through, or clip them to. The band came with no instructions, and whilst this is a downside, it is not terrible; it was easy to work out, and there is a video on the Amazon product page that shows you how to use the strap. My doors are standard sized doors, and the strap fitted perfectly. Essentially, wrap the strap around the door so that the two raised pads on the strap sit at the top of the door with one either side; the five anchor loops and D-rings should now be all down the side of the door that you are exercising from. Thread the loose end of the strap through the buckle, pull the strap as tight as you can get it, then tighten the buckle; see the photos I have attached to the review to help you, as they show where to thread the strap and the raised pads. My set of resistance bands is 150 lbs, and with the strap being able to withstand 200 lbs (according to the listing) I shouldn't have any bother; so far these have proved sturdy and useful. Given the cost of an average set of resistance bands on Amazon, this anchor strap does seem a little expensive, but its value is definitely in it's usefulness, as it makes performing the exercises much easier. It also comes with a nice little bag to keep your strap in, much better for storage.

great idea, bit pricey, is it safe?
review for door anchor strap ====================== This is essentially a ratchet strap with several loops that you can attach to a door. However, the strap could have done with a better ratchet buckle - it's the most basic one, but it does the job. How well this fits does depend on your door height and top and bottom door gap size. I struggled to fit this at first. There are no instructions, but the basis is pretty simple - you just put it on the door. All you need to make sure is the black loops are above the metal rings, as in the product pictures and that you have threaded the ratchet correctly. In the end, I found a picture that made me realise I had threaded it incorrectly. I've attached the picture maybe others may find it helpful. After correctly threading and orientating the strap, although the strap was not completely tight against the door - you could lift it slightly, it did actually work as advertised. I put a few bands together and then used my weight to pull it from the top position, and it does pull the strap a few inches from the surface of the door which gets progressively worse as you use the points going towards the centre point loop. It is a normal nylon ratchet strap, so should be good for the load- not sure if repeated use on the same door will have wear and tear on the door itself, but it seems to be a nice idea. You also need to make sure you've tightened and threaded it properly or you could start exercising and find it pulls quite a lot more from the surface of the door. At the time of writing, Dec 2021, the price of the door anchor is £20 and the door anchor with included bands is £28. I couldn't find any other door anchor straps like these, but the single door anchor, the one that has a foam head and small loop for just the top or bottom door position can be bought for as low as £2 (inc delivery) on Amazon. Yes, this particular door anchor gives you three or four mounting positions along the door, but at quite a price hike. Its also possible the price has gone up just for xmas, and possibly come down again afterwards to give an appearance of a 'sale' price. Also a bit nervous if it will hold up properly over time - it only takes one break that could potentially be quite painful or worse cause injury. So far, only the top and bottom points seem quite sturdy, but if thats all you were going to use, you would be better off just getting a couple of single door anchors for £4-£5. I will try and update in 6 months to see how well it holds up.
