It worked!
I can't believe it worked! Its success depends on the placement of the mat and if there are other paths to get to their desired destination. Background: There is a large presence of outdoor stray and feral cats that my neighbor is feeding. Many of them have decided to nest on my cushioned patio chairs which is not working out for me. Every week, there is a thick layer of cat hair over the cushions. A few cats have a noticeable smell and left stains on my cushions.I was trying to prevent them from sleeping on my chairs my rearranging the cushions but that didn't work. After jumping on them, the cushions would shift and they'd eventually find a small spot to chill out.So I decided to get these spiky mats. Every since I laid several mats (I taped them together to make my desired shape) on the chairs, they have not returned! I also have a chair cover, so I'm just that helped in preventing them from just pushing the mat over. Even with a cover, without the mat, they'd go under the cover and just hop on the chair.Yes, they are sharp if you push hard enough, but it will not hurt the cat. Cats typically test a surface by gently pawing it. If it notices that it's unpleasant, it will not walk or decide to sleep on it. Not all cats are the same, so you're mileage may vary. Also, if the cat can just jump over the mat to get to their goal (like on the bed), well, that's just a cat doing what they do best (trying to outsmart you sometimes and being persistent).

This product works!
I have a cat that would urinate in some areas that had carpet. I tired everything to try to deter the cat from doing this safely, deterrent sprays, tape, pee pads, etc. nothing worked. Saw these plastic sheets with little spikes and they worked great! No more urinating on the carpet!!

Worthless!
Shame on me for not thoroughly reading every bit of description. I looked at the pictures, read reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I received a small package with a few pieces in it, there's no way there's 16 pieces in this. But it doesn't matter. It's cheap flimsy plastic. It's not spiky and it's nothing like they portrait in the pictures. Here's an idea...sell a quality product and stop trying to rip us off. It will be returned tomorrow.

Ignore the drama
Sometimes I wonder about y’all, these spikes are not harmful to a human or otherwise. They are literally made of the thinnest plastic, like the ones that come in your kid’s toy packaging, they feel so flimsy. Yes, the points are sturdy but you would have to go out of your way to actually harm yourself on these things. This is not a dangerous product unless you lack common sense and even the FERAL cats I’m using it for have the sense to not actually harm themselves on these things. They took one look at it, pawed at it, and have stayed away from it. Any claims that these things are harming people make me side eye the person because if you’re using any common sense, you should not be getting hurt on pieces of plastic that you already know have sharp tips. The little connecting tabs are a joke though. You’re better off sitting the last row of spikes on top of the first row of the next panel then taping the seam underneath. I needed groups of these connected to establish a boundary for the feral cats we feed who took a liking to pooing under our seating benches. This 100% got them to stop going under the benches. None of the cats were dumb enough to actually place themselves on these. I will say one cat seemed pretty annoyed by this boundary and decided to poop IN FRONT OF all of my panels 😂🙄 so if you have a petty pet, be prepared. Also, since I am using these on an outdoor space, I used weather sealing tape which sticks pretty good to the concrete. You will need to secure these if using outside, they are extremely lightweight. There are holes you can peg a small stake through.I think the price could be more modest for the simplicity of the material. Other than that great buy.

Window saver
My German Shepherd goes insane when she sees someone walking their dogs past the house. Since I cannot stop her from clawing up the window sill while I am not home, and she ignores me through the webcam, I used command stripes to secure these on the sill. She still barks, but she no longer sounds like a banshee. The only problem is I only needed three sections, not a dozen.

Game changer. We purchased this to put on our couch to keep the dogs off. works like a charm. We have tried covers, electric pads, and nothing worked. These worked instantly.

Didn't work
Didn't really work. These are sharp but so thin and narrow my cat just maneuvers around them.
