Perfect for a new baby
I really like these chux. I am a new first-time mom, and these have saved me from doing a ton of extra laundry. I use them in several different ways: 1) I used them when I was pregnant as a potential barrier in case my water broke. I left one in each of our cars, one in my purse, and one under our sheets on my bed. I never had to actually use them for this purpose, but it made me feel better knowing they were there. 2) I currently use them on my daughters crib. I placed a waterproof cover on her mattress, and then laid an underpad on top. Over that I placed a fitted sheet. I repeated these layers several times (chux, fitted sheet, chux, fitted sheet), ending with a fitted sheet on top. Now if she spits up or has a blow-out in the middle of the night, I don't have to go fumbling around looking for a clean sheet. I just rip the top layer off and throw it in the hamper, and the next layer is dry. 3) I also lay these underneath her on the changing table to protect the changing pad. If we have an accident during a diaper change, it is easier to simply throw away an underpad than do a load of laundry all the time. Also, I had to buy a pack of underpads from Target once as I ran out of these. I hated the Target brand. They were full of static and stuck to everything. This brand is so much better. I would recommend these to any new mom. And the small size is perfect for babies.

Great for a potty training toddler
We use these in our 3 year old's car seat to help protect from any potty accidents. He refuses to wear pull ups during the day, and he does great 98% of the time. Occasionally, he cannot hold it when we are in the car, and this helps me from having to take his seat out to clean it & wash it every time.I normally cut this size in half to create two smaller squares instead of one large rectangle. It works wonderfully for my son. So far, he's had three accidents while using these, and I haven't had to wash the cover yet.** Chux pads are approved by car seat manufacturers & car seat techs for safe use. **

Good option for potty training
Purchased these to use in my child's car seat during the first months of potty training. They are a bit large to entirely unfold and use in the car seat (I did a weird fold before my child sat on it). They do absorb very well and come folded up small enough to stick an extra in the seat pocket. They are not bulky by any means so I am not worried about them interfering with my car seat's safety.

a must for a new baby
Small chux pads are a must for a baby. We use them on top of the changing pad so we don't have to wash the cover every time there is an accident. We also carry them in the diaper bag so any couch (or lap) can be turned into a changing pad.The second time around, I ordered similar pads from another seller because I assumed they'd be the same and those were a little cheaper. Turns out, they are a little different. We like this brand better because it's softer and seems a little more absorbent. Not a huge difference though, sort of like a preference in paper towels - at the end they all do the job.Update: Now that our little one is a year old, we don't go through these pads quite as fast. They are still a must on our changing table. Our baby is very squirmy and sometimes it's hard to keep all the mess inside the diaper. If it wasn't for these pads, we'd have to have several changing pad covers and wash they much more frequently.

Pakage Arrived Opened
I have used these before to use while applying lotion to gauze to treat burns. The work well and are easy to clean. However, I was very disappointed with this shipment. I ordered 2 packages. One of them was opened, and it appears that the contents had been removed and then put back in the package. I know this because they were not inserted the correct way. I will have to return them, because I don't know if they are sanitary.
