Change flourscent starter with new flourscent bulb.
It works fine. However, I needed to change the light starter also. Now it works as expected. Glad I bought this as the old lamp had black inside the tube and had to change both items. (found info on this on U-tube)

Superior item
We have bought 4 bug zappers and have them in places inside and out. Living in Texas we have issues with mosquitos and these are really lethal to them and protect us and our pets from bites and also the diseases they carry. We keep them by doors and on our patio. They put off a soft light, are quality made and function perfectly. We would highly recommend this brand and the fact that we have bought 4 should be a testament to their value for our dollars.
