I just purchased my 3rd one and I hope they never discontinue this product. Why do I love this so much? I have used electrical heating pads and other types of heating pads and this one just holds heat much better and for longer. The elastic portion of the outside pouch is very stretchy and durable, even after 50+ uses you will still be using this.The only reason I have had to purchase additional ones is because others in my home did not follow the instructions and heated this in the microwave for too long. This causes issues to the clay material that is used inside the designated pouch which means you will need to replace it. (we recently purchased a new microwave with higher wattage and another adult in my household heated this up for the same amount of time as our older 250W lower microwave). So as long as you follow the instructions you will have zero issues.My advice? Buy one and don't overheat it in your microwave. Thank me later.

I used to be a very active athlete, and found this years ago to be the best option for a hot pack for home therapy. It's easy: just pop into the microwave for less than a minute, wrap around the affected area, and go read or watch tv or make a nice lap for the kitty. No need to put in boiling water or anything like that.Lasts for years.Lately I'm less of an active athlete and more of a creaky person with back pain, and this comes in very handy for when I need a hot pad rather than an ice pack.I highly recommend giving this one a try if you're looking for good hot pack.

I already owned one of these and use it to cool me off when I am fishing or outdoors. I freeze it and then put it where I need it to help me cool off. I've used it under my feet, on my neck, chest and stomach. I have a Australian Shepherd puppy who get overheated and she loves the one I recently purchased for her. I put it on the floor and she lays on it to cool herself off. After running and playing as they are active dog breeds, she will come indoors and go straight to my freezer as though she is waiting for me to get her pad out. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR PETS!

Maybe it's a feature but this isn't super cold so it takes a few minutes to _feel_ cold.The strap is great though. Being able to hold itself in place is amazing.

I have used these the last three years and have ordered multiple times. I love these. My husband usually heats one up and gives it to me before he heads to work. Perfect for period cramps, I’ve used it for my sciatica, used after I had our baby to help keep me warm, and on the opposite note, I have froze it to help keep my breast milk cold on long car trips. If heating just keep an eye on it and don’t heat it for too long or it will pop. User error on our part but if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t have ordered three more.

Colder than gel pack, yet molds nicely to body parts, just as you would expect clay to do. Lasts much longer than gel or bag of crushed ice. Velcro strap on the cloth cover holds it in place for knees, shoulders, etc. Just bought second one, so I can “wear one, freeze one” for recent shoulder injury

I've had this heating pad for years and cannot praise it enough for having relieved body pain every time I've used it. I finally found it again here on Amazon this week after going through a number of other heating pads that were not as advertised. (The TermiPaq name is slightly different than the 'Theramics' name I had before and that is actually on this current product.) All you have to do is put this in the microwave for 68 seconds and you've got over half an hour of wonderful, penetrating heat. I don't praise products very often because too many are not as advertised. This one is.
