My Autistic daughter got hooked on this and Pinky and the Brain when we could afford the cable. After the accident, my disability wouldn't allow the payment of cable. Found this and there were a lot that she didn't have...

A must see for all action loving fans. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

This video is not my favorite of the 5, but it is classic. Where else can you find washing machines taking over London? Penfold's adventures back in time are a riot. Fun for all ages...ranks up with one of my all-time top five favorite tv series.

British animation humor at its best. Absurd adventures, spy stuff, and some of the worst puns ever. Listen close! They don't slow down.This collection has one of my favorite episodes, "The Invasion of Colonel K", a delightful parody of "Fantastic Voyage".

A marvelous cartoon show. Very funny,clever and at times side-splittingly absurd! The acting and animation are top-class an the intermissions with the narrator are a very good idea. I was slightly nervous about ordering this video as I was not sure if would work on my British standard machine, but I was pleasantly surprized! More of these tapes should be made including Count Duckula, Victor and Hugo et al. I can't wait for my next order to arrive!

Both my kids love Dangermouse but this is only the second DVD i have got for them. I did try to get them in order but after watching the first episodes (bizzare and boring) on one dvd and then throwing it away i found the best of ones to be much better. This and Viva Dangermouse are much more how i remember the series being, funny, irreverent and entertaining, a must have ;)

Dangermouse est une souris "James Bond" avec tous les gadgets & en plus un assistant, Penfold, qui a toujours besoin d'être sauvé lors de leurs aventures loufoques qui font penser un peu à "Monty Python" pour enfants...Si vous voulez rire, achetez!Si vous voulez voir "l'humour anglais" au mieux, achetez!Si vous voulez regarder quelque chose avec vos enfants sans vous emm***er, achetez!Mon fils (+5 ans)rit aujourd'hui en regardant les aventures de Dangermouse autant que moi il y a plus de 20 ans & je suis convaincu que, le jour venu, mes petits enfants feront pareil - comme tout œuvre classique, c'est immortel.

Was waren das noch für Zeiten, als Kinderfernsehen, noch Kinderfernsehen war, und nicht Pokemon.Als noch "Spaß am Dienstag" mit Werner und Zini (dem einzigen deutschen Specialeffect mit Persönlichkeit) lief.Und eben in jener Sendung kam ich zum ersten mal in Kontakt mit Englands wohl größtem, obwohl kleinstem Geheimagenten:Danger Mouse.Wer meint, britischen Humor gäbe es nur bei den Monty Pythons oder dem Herren Atkinson, der hat sich getäuscht, auch dieses gezeichnete Kleinod hält eine gehörige Portion englischer Skurrilität für einen bereit.Merkwürdig finde ich, dass ich als alter Fan der Serie keine der aufgeführten 6 Folgen kannte, zum einen ist das natürlich toll, aber irgendwie hatte ich mich darauf gefreut, meine Kindheitserinnerungen wieder auffrischen zu können.Anscheinend wurden uns in Deutschland einige Folgen vorenthalten.Da muss dann wohl die nächste DVD her.An der Qualität kann man nicht herummäkeln.Viel erwarten kann man aber nicht bei einer 20 Jahre alten, nie wirklich beachteten Zeichentrickserie.Trotzdem habe ich das Gefühl, dass die alten Originalbänder noch einmal für die DVD abgenommen wurden und auch das Menü ist recht liebevoll.Die Extras beschränken sich zwar auf ein paar Charakterkarten und die erste Graf Duckula Folge, allerdings hat es letztere in sich, da einfach nur brüllend komisch.Die Englische Sprache der DVD sollte für jemanden, der einigermassen gutes Schulenglisch redet auch kein Problem darstellen, falls doch möchte ich hier sagen, dass die Geschichten meistens so abstrus sind, dass man bei der Handlung meistens eh nicht viel verpassen kann.Bei dem Preis und der Spielzeit von über zwei Stunden durchaus lohnenswert.

Notably, in the pilot Dangermouse is not voiced by David Jason, but by William Franklyn. The rest of the voice cast is different -- Penfold has a Welsh accent (actor unknown).Technically, time has not been kind to the original 16mm films. Some are better quality than the others. They're a little grainy, and a bit of sprocket weave is noticeable occasionally.
