Great gift item
Bought this as a gift for my Mom and she loved it. She was always a puzzle fan so I thought this water scene would be perfect. The pieces seem sturdy and easy to fit together.

Missing 5 pieces
Having missing pieces was frustrating. Didn't get the satisfaction of finishing the full puzzle.. getting the missing pieces was difficult. But the puzzle quality and sturdiness was excellent

Poor print, picture and color quality, might be great fun. If I could see it?
I’m pretty good at low-piece-count (say, 1,000 pieces) puzzles. Quite often I challenge myself to complete them without using the picture as a reference. I sometimes have to cave and take a glance. This puzzle is very challenging. Not because it has a higher piece count, but because the style of the piece cut combined with very dark colors makes it more of a trial and error puzzle than a skill puzzle. Patterns aren’t easily recognizable. There is no included image printed on paper in the box. The on-box image is also dark, and cuts off part of the picture. It’s reflective and so putting it in bright light can obscure the image with reflection.I’ve resorted to taking photos of part of the box picture and brightening and enlarging them to see a little better. This of course provides a high challenge and difficulty level, which I usually appreciate. This is more frustrating than anything.
