Q: What specifically is the "auto-reset feature" do? Whats the difference compared the the manual ones

As long as you press down the red button the plunger will continue to push--when you let up on the button the plunger will go back into the cylinder. Works good for crushing soda cans.

Q: is this momentary or latching? It says latching but one of the answers sounds like it is momentay i.e. spring returned.

Piston will stay in extended position as long as you hold activation button down. Once you release the button the plunger returns to original position. Hope this helps.

Q: Is the button removable and if so what is the thread size inside?

It is removable. Dont kow thread size/pitch

Q: What is the CFM flow?

I do not know. But I am using it on a 6 inch piston. Can crusher with 1/4 inch hoses

Worth the money for a can crusher!

Works well, easy to install and set up. Installed on can crusher and it slowly crushes cans. Not fast or slow, but controlled and smooth. Plastic on top of an aluminum valve body. Seems well made for the money and would buy it again.
