I like these. Solid. The treads are reversed on the locking nut - not sure why. Just weird when installing to be "loosening" as you tighten them down. I suppose if you were really torquing the fitting, the reverse threads of the nut would help - so that the inner fitting and the outer nut are tightening when applying your wrench in opposite directions. But being plastic, it is going to break before you apply that much force I suspect. But I suppose reverse threads of the nut is the 'correct' way to manufacture these, for that purpose. The inner thread fits a common sized adapter at the big box stores.

I bought these for our rain barrels. They worked as designed flawlessly. The purchase was a big plus as the big box stores do not carry these where I am, and would have to order through them at a premium. I would purchase/will purchase these again.

Well-made fittings - the vinyl washers that came with sealed just fine. I used the teflon sealing tape included with the fittings, and have no leaks. Good value for bulkhead fittings. Recommend.

Very well manufactured! All in the plus ( but please if you are reading this make sure before you buy that you want the bulkhead s that are threaded both sides ! I made the mistake, wanted slips on the under the tank side)

Rock Solid! stays on strong! prefer this over a metal one i bought. Using a pressure washer and a 7 gallon bucket with this on it. 1.8G pressure washer.

I used this for my DIY rain barrel. I used them to connect the barrels in a series so they all fill up and drain at the same time. No leaks from the barrels being filled up full. The rubber gasket is thick which is great. One thing to mention is to ream the inside and outside so there are no rough spots when you install it.

I'm trying to use these to connect blue barrels for rain collection. My plan was to attach a large, grey fitting to the side of each barrel, then connect those with the white fittings. It is extremely difficult to connect the grey fittings tight enough to stop leaks. Four of my six connections are leaky. This is just the nature of trying to get a water tight seal on a round surface. If you have two pipe wrenches to fit around the 2in nuts you will be alright. It won't happen with finger strength. The real pain is that there are simply not enough gaskets to seal the white fittings to the grey, and they do not sell this size gasket at hardware stores. You'll have to order double what you need just for the extra gaskets, as only the plugs come with that size on them, not the white connectors. The white connectors are guaranteed to leak without the extra gaskets no matter how tight you get them.
