It's not as heavy as I expected it to be. It's a light die cast shell, but seems pretty sturdy. Not heavy in the hand. I filled it (once I found the hole lol) and lit lit on the first try, though I did have to adjust the wheel to bring the flame down. It seems to come needing to be throttled back some. The adjustment wheel is hard to turn, so they give you a flathead screwdriver, which seems to make no sense, because you then look for a screw. It's just a tiny black wheel. To adjust lower, turn the wheel upward towards the head. (The wheel is offset a bit.)Once I had it adjusted, it never fails to light and that is an unusual thing in electric/gas lighters. Very pleased with that and who doesn't love a bright red/pink flame?The knife is a nice little pocket knife, with hole and saw at the hilt. Auto opens with switch and locks open. The switch is a bit loose and doesn't function perfectly, you have to push down a bit as you push up the switch to get it to open, but it works. Nice and sharp too. (Could be sharper, and I will later.)Quality for the price? It's an excellent buy! It's the one I'll be buying again when this one quits.

I haven't figured out how to get the fluid in this thing just yet. I'm sure once I figure that out it should work pretty well. I think it's definitely giftable just make sure you look up how to put the fluid in it. It's a great survival tool. Great gift for men.

I like this lighter and the knife combo as it is unique as is the red flame. Not just flimsy or for looks only as both features work well.Update: It would be nice to have had a fuel level window as relying on blow back wasn't sufficient for me. The fuel now leaks out from behind the blade. At some future date I will take it completely apart and see if it can be fixed, but until then it'll be in the junk drawer.Just be careful about over filling.

I bought this pocket knife as a birthday gift for my partner. She’s connected with birds, so I thought that this would be perfect for her! She loves the quality and feel of the lighter. The blade is solid and has a nice shape to it. The best feature is the flame. In full effect, it comes out hot pink, with the flame about an inch long. I gave it 4 stars because I had to refill the lighter in order for it to work.

Unfortunately if you’re going to order this item, please buy the refill butane along with it. I made that mistake and these are gifts so they won’t be on time because I have to wait for some money to get the butane. The Eagle design is really nice with the wings I love the switch blade mechanism I would’ve like to see. It’s definitely not chrome shiny gold the way that they advertise it which is also upsetting because I really like that and the videos instead it’s a very Matt finish and it’s not gold

Takes awhile to purge but works ok. Cutter not good.

The lighter is lightweight, and works great on cigars. The jet flame is very strong. It is too bulky to carry in your pocket but perfect for your travel bag or cigar lounge. I did have to purge the lighter twice, but since then works fantastic. Tried in the wind and the flame held strong and got a nice even light on my cigar. The knife is nice but is not needed but, I guess if you take this out camping the knife would be useful to have. Highly recommend if your a cigar smoker or if you know one as a gift.

The lighter was taking 8 to 10 clicks to light after several emails they sent me a new one no problem.
