Great price for this sturdy piece of equipment. Better than my last one for almost half the cost. Plus it extends nice and long to keep your hand away from the heat.

Good tool for your grill.

Cleans well and seems sturdy but the telescoping wand is thin walled metal. The cleaning ash scraper is also very thin walled. It'll do however,.lacks quality.

I use it every time a smoke meat. It really helps with my flame control. It extends easily. Has saved from burning my fingers. Even used it to help move things around on the grill.

Piece of garbage. Was in the middle of a 6 hour smoker cook and the handle on this thing came off the first time I needed to move the wood and then the whole end bent. I popped the handle end back on, but then the whole thing just collapsed (yes, it's collapsible) to the point of being completely useless. Every tried to manage a fire with a piece of cooked spaghetti? Yep, pretty much the same. Save yourself some time and get a solid non-collapsible unit that isn't just a dollar store unit.

Obviously made from Chinesium. Doesn't feel like it will hold up very long. Size is just right for my busy fireplace which has a grate, andirons, screen, and heat reflecting antique fireback, all too heavy to remove for cleaning. So, the rake did it's job well this time, but I suspect it'll need frequent replacement after a few uses.
