I LOVE this carrier! I would give it 6 stars if I could! The material is soft and breathable. Easy to wipe clean on outside. I love that it can be thrown in the washer and dryer. There are detachable cloths at the strap exactly where my baby chews and gets slobbery for easy washing (and sanitizing). The stitching seems quality, and it seems like it will be strong and durable. (I will update my review in a few months to confirm this.)It can be worn comfortably with baby facing you, front facing, on back, and two side positions.I love that it comes with the (removable) seat. It is much more comfortable for baby, and keeps his hips in the correct position to prevent hip dysplasia. That is my favorite quality of this carrier and is what makes it stand apart from other carriers I have tried. Plus the seat can be used by itself to support baby's weight for short trips or just around the house to take the weight of baby off your arms.The carrier is comfortable for parents. It does a good job of evenly distributing baby's weight between your shoulders, back, and hips. Having the strap around the waist makes a HUGE difference in comfort, as I have tried a cheaper carrier without this. Everything fastens very securely. Around the waist is Velcro AND clip. Every part that touches parent or baby is very soft and padded.This company thought of every last detail. There are rings at the shoulder to fasten toys, burp cloths, etx. There is a small pocket in the front of the waist strap. Oh and I love how there is no material between parent and baby. At first I thought it would be less secure this way, but it is defonetely not. And the straps are easy to adjust with baby in it, the strap clips are in the front. The carrier is light weight, and even with the added seat does not feel bulky at all.This carrier is much more cost effective than many carriers of similar style. I think you really pay for the brand with some of the other $100+ carriers.I don't love the colors, some other options would be nice. But that is a petty negative and if that is my only complaint, then this is a great product! The positives far outweigh the negatives and function is much more important than aesthetics!I put effort into writing a helpful and thorough review, as I often use reviews to help make decisions on amazon purchases. Took it out for an 8 mile maiden hike in the mountains and it worked great. The baby was secure, the harness is well built, and it has multiple configurations. My only complaint would be that there are two pinch points where the shoulder harness/ chest piece zips onto the lower bench that the baby sits on. If wearing shorts, a onesie, or on a hot day where the baby might sweat and chafe, there is a definite possibility of rubbing sores on their thighs facing forward (Pad as necessary). In the front configuration there is also a limited visibility as to where you place your feet (wife referred to this as how it felt to walk being pregnant) so use caution if you are out hiking and foot placement is important.Edit: Second hike 4 miles on very rugged mountain terrain, no problems to report, very convenient to be able to flip the configuration for climbing steep terrain.

The material is soft and durable. The straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. It does take the weight off and seems to distribute it evenly around the hips.The reason I am giving it two stars is because of the safety factor. The straps that tighten the carrier to you are the same ones to hold baby in. So if you make it to fit you it may not fit baby. When I did it for me it was super uncomfortable for baby. It was too tight around his back. When I made it so he was comfortable it was way too loose around the shoulders and he could easily get his arms out. Not safe! He could basically crawl out of the pack. When it was on my back it was literally impossible to do by myself. Having baby crawl out when I can't catch him is not okay. This should not be allowed to go on the back or should not be recommended.

I really like this carrier! I have the baby bjorn carrier and used it a lot with my baby boy. However, when he turns 8 months old (22 lbs) it became difficult to put him in as it was too tight. So I bought this one to try. He loves it because he can sit on the seat, which gives him more freedom to kick his leg. I also like it because of the multiple positions you can use it, the front, the side, the back. All super easy to put on. A happy baby and a happy mommy. The only thing I do not like was the straps on the shoulder are a little bit wide for me and they tends to fall off. I am small size so this won't be a concern for most people I guess.
