Good little hygrometer but for someone with not perfect vision it's a little tough to read you need a magnification

First of all, I was asked about the flavor of this item! It does not have one, fortunately. The instruction quality was a bit unclear, and it may or may not make a great gift. Giving one of these to a brewer might seem a bit like giving a wrench to a mechanic. I would make sure that this is something that they need first. If it is a novice brewer, then this would make a good gift, but make sure that you also include a plastic test cylinder! The device works, and gives a fairly good estimate on alcohol content. It is a good idea to buy two of these, because they feel breakable. Peace of mind is worth a few extra dollars. It is important to buy a test cylinder, and I prefer the ones made of plastic. This device has been a game changer in my kombucha brewing. Kombucha can have a wide range of alcohol content, so it is best to have a good estimate of the exact amount.

easy to read and durable a good tool for wine making

I used it check the progress of a mead, and it appeared off. I put it in 60f water like it says and it’s reading 0.996 instead of 1.000. I will keep using it because it’s only 4 points off per reading, but it’s shame because my old one broke and I thought this would be a good replacement. I expected better quality from a brand called brewer’s elite.

Product is deceptive. It’s not the brand( brewers Elite) shown in the picture. No hard case as mentioned. Felt cheated.

This hydrometer never worked for me, I would definitely not recommend it.

I was supposed to get it along with the manual and cloth. In fact the product claims to be the only product that comes with the cloth. More importantly the manual is missing. It claims to say 3 scales but not sure how to use it without user manual.

Ich erwarte eine kurzfristige Wandlung des Produktes oder die Einleitung der Retour nebst Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises!
