MacGregorGolf DX Carbon Steel Iron Set, Mens Right Hand, 4-PW

I have played 4 rounds now with these McGregor irons. I am impressed with the feel and workability with these clubs for 1/3 the price of Taylormade or Callaway irons. They are about 1/2 club shorter in distance, but have a much higher trajectory and spin very well. I highly recommend these irons for golfers on a budget looking to improve their game.

I ordered the heads only from Macgregor website. Just finished the build yesterday. Paired with steel shafts, tipped to play softer then regular flex. Men's standard lengths.#1 Cast carbon heads feel buttery soft. Almost as good as forged.#2 Rocket launchers when hit well.#3 Very forgiving, both distance and accuracy. When hit slightly bad.I put every club through the paces at a long practice range session with launch monitor. Frist let me say, I have never hit a 4 iron well in my life till now. For some reason the long irons inspired the same amount of confidence as the scoring irons. I won't tell you these clubs are magic but they are very forgiving. These clubs get the ball in tha air so nicely prefect launch and flight even on low strikes.The distance is great, I definitely gained about 3 to 5 yards per club. I haven't hit a 7 iron more than 147 yards carry since I had Callaway Razr X irons years ago. Frist hit with the Macgregor Dx dead straight 153 carry. I absolutely love them so far and can't wait to get them to the course on Saturday.Definitely recommend these clubs 100%.

These seem to be great clubs for the price. I purchased them for my 17 year old grandson.

I've only been playing for about a year and I was looking for some cheap clubs to learn with. They seem pretty good so far. I like that you can get a steel and graphite option. I've been playing with them for two months about once per week.Update11/24The head on the seven iron came flying off today and the five iron is loose also there's a nice idea to save a little money but now I'm going to buy a little more expensive clubs

The shaft length options. Genius. Cannot wait for my delivery to arrive and compare them. 6’2”

Would have been nice to know these clubs are not standard length, picture shows standard length five iron to longer MacGregor club, would not have ordered if listed in description.

Just got these in the mail TODAY. Went and played 9 holes. These things didn’t even make it to hole 4. The heads came flying off on the PW, 8 iron and 9 iron. What junk! Do not waste your time or money on these clubs. Just save up a little more for a name brand set that will last you a lifetime.

Two rounds out of the plastic and the head to my pitching wedge came flying off on a perfect shot. Then when I went to claim warranty they offered me a new shaft or $25 instead of sending a replacement. Absolute garbage service and quality.
