Q: Can these be used for inside plants?

i'm using them for my indoor tomatoes. it really depends on how deep your planter/flower pot is and/or the height of the plant. otherwise, i don't see there being a problem.

Q: What is the thickness of the metal?

I didn't take a video, and it wouldn't accept a .jpg. But, the power cord to your phone is slightly smaller than the width of the metal of the Plant Stake. I've used the stakes in my patio garden for Honeysuckle vines, Lilies, Lilac vines, etc. And for an Amaryllis almost like the one shown. Works great.

Q: What is diameter of the opening/circle at the top?

The set I purchased is HiGift 12 Pack Plant Stake Support for Flowers with 20pcs Orchid Clips, Garden Single Stem Plant Support Ring, Metal Plant Stakes and Clips Set for Tomatoes, Amaryllis, Orchid, Lily Rose (15.8 inch). The inside diameter of the ring opening is 2 1/4" Stakes are sturdy enough. The little metal clips that came with the stakes are worthless. So tiny they aren't usable. I threw them away. I have my own clips. To me, those plastic type that will come with the stakes you want to order are also worthless (flimsy as hell) to me. I have had those as well. Again, I threw them away.
