Vibram Men's KMD LS-M

This is the second pair of Vibrams I ordered. The first pair fit too narrow. Though the "length" of my feet matched size 43 perfectly, my feet are a little on the wide side so I ended up having to return them for the next size up. Now these black and silver vibrams fit mostly well, there's a little room in the toe slots, which I don't prefer but its better to wear a size bigger than a size too small.The shoes are very comfortable, and have wonderful arch support, I like vibrams because my toes don't feel cramped like in any ordinary shoe, and also unlike ordinary shoes you can "feel" the ground beneath you. Though they say these shoes are great for running, I use them for hiking and also just wear them when I'm around the house.

A lil background info before I get to tell everyone how amazing these shoes are!! I'm a 6'1 tall female that wears a size 12 or 13 wide width women's shoe depending on the make of the shoe. So I can't express how difficult it is for me to find a nice pair women's shoes that's don't look like boats. Keep in mind that 'most' women's shoes only go up to a size 11M... So sucks to have my feet! I always end up buying men's shoes and am unhappy with them because while they fit, I wish I could wear something slightly more femine. I also have some issues with swollen feet from time to time.With all that being said, these shoes have been super comfortable. As soon as I put them on I was in love and coming from a woman that loathes shoe shopping that means A LOT! I have been doing much of my exercising at home and the gym and these have been perfect. Bought them in a men's 12 and was worried because some reviews said they ran small and I live overseas so I couldn't make it to the store to purchase them. The color and style of the shoes did not make my feet look more mannish then they already do which is a big plus for me. The material of the shoes are stretchy so that will address the occasional swelling I have and they are still supportive enough for me to continue exercising in. I haven't worked my way up to running in them yet but I will definitely post my thoughts on that when I get there. I don't review products often nor did I receive a discount in exchange for a review. I honestly love these shoes and will be buying more in the future for my husband and I. Also, shipping was super fast!I do wish they came in pink and black for womanwith not so average feet though. Other than that, these are awesome! I would highly recommend these for a comfortable workout!

First off, I own several pairs of Vibram, and this is my favorite all around shoe for gym, going places etc. the shoes blend in well but strike up sooo many conversations once people notice what I can do with my feet after wearing these types is shoes for years…they make a lot of difference vs regular shoes. This pair as I said, is my favorite and fits true to size like other vibrams

I'm on my second pair of these now and third pair of Vibrams overall. One thing that seemed to happen between my old pair (a different model) and these is that I went from a size 43 to a size 45! I don't exactly know why this happened (I think they adjusted the sizing for some reason) but make sure you measure your feet and round up to the next size even if you have a pair of Vibrams already. I had to make two exchanges to get the right size of this particular shoe.I really love walking in Vibrams! My main issue - and this is what made me get a cheaper, more traditional walking/running shoe for walking: after only a couple of weeks of walking about one hour a day most days of the week, the soles are REALLY wearing thin already, mostly at the balls of my feet. I wore holes in my last pair too but with this pair the wear has accelerated a LOT as I have increased my walking time.This is just such a shame and a waste for a very expensive shoe as the rest of the shoe is totally fine! I just can't justify using these outside any more, so I use them on the treadmill and I use a more traditional shoe for outside walking. Even still, I can tell they are still wearing holes pretty quickly with a few hours of treadmill walking per week.I tried using Shoe Goo and bicycle tube patches to fix the holes but much to my disappointment, that really didn't work well. To be fair, I am about 330 pounds and I walk on concrete streets and sidewalks several hours a week. These shoes might not be designed for such heavy wear and tear even though this model has an extra thick gray layer of plastic or rubber over the softer black rubber.So if you're heavier and/or if you run or walk a lot on rough surfaces, you might be very disappointed with how quickly the soles of these shoes will wear all the way through in certain spots.If these shoes were in the $50-75 range, I might not have much of a problem with having to buy a new pair every 3-4 months (still, what a huge waste of money and resources) but they were about double that when I bought them. As much as I love walking in Vibrams, these will likely be my last pair unless the prices comes way down on these and they figure out a way to make the soles more durable (or maybe if I can figure out a good way to repair these).

Llevo como cinco años utilizando estas zapatillas y desde entonces los dolores musculares y articulares que tenía han ido desapareciendo.Al principio son incómodas de gastar. Pero una vez te acostumbras, según el pie se va fortaleciendo, es como caminar con el calzado más cómodo del mundo. La pisada se corrige, y con ello un montón de problemas posturales y articulares del cuerpo.

I have size 8 feet and the size 8 fit me really well. They are maybe a fraction bigger than I would want, but the size lower are impossible for me to put on.Been wearing these at the gym for about 6 months now, and I usually work out 4x a week for around 90 minutes each session split between 2 upper body and 2 lower body, and around 35 mins cardio on a cross trainer.They are a great fit, and by the 3rd time of wearing them I got used to the angle and toe placement when you put them on.I don't use them outside, so they have very little wear and tear so far. They are comfortable for long periods of wear, but don't keep your feet very warm in the colder months, so wear some decent quality toe socks.I have worn them outside very briefly when getting the bus home from the gym when it was raining, but I didn't get wet feet so I guess they are at least mildly water resistant for walking on a wet pavement for a few minutes.I was also pleased to discover they are great for my sim-racing setup at home, they feel much better than using the pedals with socks or trainers.I will definitely buy another pair in the future.

Encore un modèle facile à porter et tellement bon pour la santé!!!!!! Je ne porte plus d'autres chaussures dites "à la mode" depuis neuf ans tant ces chaussures avec des doigts ont changé ma vie!

Ich habe schon mehrere Five Fingers als Laufschuhe verschlissen. Der KMD (früher Komodo) wurde hier als Hallenschuh angeboten. Ich habe es trotzdem riskiert ihn als Laufschuh zu bestellen, da ich die Komodo von früher her kannte und diese waren perfekt zum Laufen geeignet. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, der KMD ist nach wie vor ein super Laufzehenschuh. Er hat den Vorteil dass er das Barfußgefühl wirklich optimal vermittelt, die neueren 5Fingers von Vibram sind meiner Meinung schon etwas zu stabil ausgeführt, beim KMD ist gerade so viel Material vorhanden, dass man noch den Boden spürt, den Schuh aber nicht. Natürlich muss man mit solchen Schuhen vorsichtig beginnen da sie keine Sprengung und keine Dämpfung haben, aber wenn die Fußmuskulatur einmal trainiert ist kann man den KMD auch im Gelände als Trailschuh verwenden. Auch der neue Verschluss funktioniert sehr gut. Zur Größe : Ich habe normalerweise 42,5 bis 43, Laufschuhe kaufe ich in 44. Die Zehenschuhe passen in 43 wie angegossen.
