Vintiquewise(TM Decorative Treasure Box - Wooden Trunk Chest

My 8 year old was Harry Potter this Halloween. He used this as his treat bag. He got so many compliments from the treat givers. It holds quite a bit of candy. He emptied it into my grocery bag twice throughout the night. The clasp held up all night and it wasnt heavy. It was super cute!

Purchased as a gift for an older gentleman. This is a small, masculine, very nice looking, fashionable chest, perfect to use for watch and wallet at night, or keys, cuff links, or in our situation- candy. We plan to add some wrapped candy for a Christmas gift. Gave 4 stars on durability, only because we do not know yet, how well it will hold up, but certainly no apparent flaws. I really like it.

This is truly a treasure chest. The authentic look and feel makes it a perfect item to be placed on any table top. Wood and Leather with a lined inside. Great item. I use mine as a storage for my remotes and other small items that one requires when captivated by the ‘Boob Tube’. Small bottle of antacids, lighter, rolling papers, Netflix and Apple TV remotes as well as the TV, Cable and Soundbar remotes all fit with room to spare. Purchased one for a friend, she keeps hers on her nightstand, I’m not even going to ask what she keeps in her Treasure Chest.

This chest looks fairly nice when closed, but is flimsier and less well-made than I'd hoped, and would not stay latched until I inserted something (I initially used a thin nail) through the loop where a lock might go. It will probably serve it's purpose, but I would have preferred something made of thicker wood rather than what appears to be thin plywood.

Bought as a gift for my son for him to keep his most valued treasures in (Pokémon cards, legos, the important stuff). It looks great, exactly as expected, the clasp for closing it has a spot to put a small lock on it, and it is very lightweight, but it seems very fragile, I'm almost afraid to let him have it because it feels like it could just fall apart if used too much. Also, one of hinges was mounted crooked so when closing the lid has to be wiggled a bit to line it up straight. I still think it’s worth buying because it is gorgeous, but probably best for putting on a shelf.

The media could not be loaded. The leather handle on top was a little smashed during transit but it's totally a great product you can lock it if you choose. Great place to store your treasures.

Got this to stash my husband's toiletries in when guests are over, so his stuff isn't all over the counter. Very pretty and well made box. Works like a charm

Quality not what I expected and items much small than I envisioned.
