I don't like velcro that wears out easily. I've been testing this and with over 150 cycles of connecting and disconnecting two pieces, it is still very grippy and takes a fair bit of effort to pull apart. I'll test this to 500 cycles before I use it in anything and will update the review. So far, though, it looks to be a great product and the amount you get for the price is better than some other products.

I mean, it was exactly as described. A lot of black, sew-on velcro that actually holds up well in heavy-use situations. I used this to extend the velcro on kneepads, and even with nearly everyday use the product is holding up beautifully.

Trying to find hook and loop locally is nearly impossible. I had to replace some on a belt that my son used, and he was getting impatient to get it fixed.I ordered on Amazon, and it came quickly. It sewed up like a dream, and it is exactly what my son needed to get his belt fixed.Hook and loop is hook and loop, but this stuff seems to be a bit better than average.
