I love this shampoo, it smells nice and refreshing.

My husband and I use this shampoo together. Neither of us has hair loss issues, but we chose to use this shampoo for preventive care since we need to use shampoo when we wash our hair anyway. I personally don't notice much, but my husband mentioned that this shampoo seems to have an effect on preventing hair loss for him. He feels that it strengthens the hair roots and keeps his hair slightly thicker. The shampoo lathers well, and when used alone, it has a bit of stiffness, but not to the extent where conditioner is a must. However, using conditioner with it is recommended as it can be a bit stiff. The best aspect of this shampoo is the refreshing feeling it provides. After using this shampoo, the scalp feels cool and refreshed. It gives a sensation of having been thoroughly cleansed. The major downside is the price and quantity. In Korea, it's sold in a large 1250ml size, but here, it comes in three smaller bottles, which is a bit disappointing. Also, the method of dispensing the shampoo is not very convenient. Personally, I find pump dispensers the most convenient for shampoos, but this product requires squeezing it out by hand, flipping it upside down, and then closing the lid, which can be inconvenient. However, considering the satisfaction with the shampoo itself, I think it would be even better if it came in a larger size and changed to a pump dispenser.

In just shy of two months i have noticed a SIGNIFICANT change in my hair. it feels so muck stronger, my ponytail feels thicker and fuller. Also the obvious, the growth!!! as you can see in the picture two months ago my part was very thin and i was starting to get very thin almost balding looking spots. My mom originally recommended it to me. her hair was getting very thin on top and now looks so much fuller with tons of new growth. I am so happy I took her recommendation and ran with it. We are both proof of the magic this shampoo has. I would also like to mention I have not used the after shampoo liquid as recommended and i also do not wash my hair everybody as instructed. I usually wash my hair every 2-3days but i do however leave it for the two minutes it says. My mom leaves it longer which I see no harm in doing. Overall I love this product! I have recommended it and I am happy to show proof of how good it works in just a matter of two months. Also would like to mention my hair was just washed and air dried before these pictures where taken.

I had read that caffeine could help with hair regrowth, and that the results are similar to minoxidil without some of the hair shedding. That is main reason why I chose a caffeine infused shampoo. I decided to try Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo C1 based on the reviews. I have been using it for nearly a year, and I have seen some hair re-growth. It does make the remaining hair grow much more quickly as well. I have a bald spot on the top of my head and it extends to the crown (front of my head). There is some hair still there, but it has significantly thinned out over the years. This shampoo has definitely stopped the loss, and in the bald spot on top and the balding area in between some hairs have come back to my amazement. I am not sure if continued use will help wake up any other dormant follicles or not, but I believe that it is helping so I am satisfied enough to keep using it. I think it smells fine. I didn't see any increased improvement when I used the Double Effect version, though - it seemed to work about the same. The C1 version is the one I use mostly.

I am now a 64 year old woman. I started using this when I was 63 for getting my thinning hair to grow back (I always had very thick hair). I used this for more than a year, just as the directions stated - leaving in for 2 minutes before rinsing. It is very nice for cleaning hair but, after 1 1/2 years, I don't see any more hair growth and, in fact, I have continually lost more hair. I decided to stop using this for a bit (even though I still have unused bottles) to give my scalp a rest. I am not sure that leaving shampoo on my head for 2 minutes is a good idea and it seemed to get a little irritating as of late - red scalp. To be fair, I am older and take thyroid medication, so maybe my hairloss is something that this can not fix. I also got covid last summer, though I didn't get a fever, so hair loss as of late could be related to this. It is a fine shampoo for cleaning but I don't know that I would recommend leaving it on your head for 2 minutes as I don't think this promotes hair growth. I'm still looking for the fix for that.
