Each section of 4 mikes is in a fairly heavy cardboard box/case with a handle

Q: What mixer do you buy for this? Any suggestions?

Works w any analog or digital mixer ( with analog inputs). I use it for direct recording into a multitrack recorder, as well as mixers by behringet, mackie, allen and Heath, etc.

Q: Any suggestions for me that need 30 mics to work at the same time? I guess if I buy two sets they won't work as they will be sharing the frequency...

You can if you get separate lots. I think they are coded into four different groups. However, I bought two of these 16 mic sets and only two had repeated frequencies and they were labeled as different groups. I needed 24 mics so it worked for me. The shielding is decent too. Older mics would crossover or fuzz out. These mics eliminated those issues. Great find!
