Q: my students used these to create a light maze and they were all scratched by the end of my first period class! Can they be returned?

Mine are scratched too but I expected that because they were cheap. YouTube plastic mirror cleaning hacks. That might help!!

Q: How do you take the protective film off? There is no tab!

I had no issue removing the film. Use my thumb nail with pressure along the edge till it caught and pulled up a little and pulled it up from there.

Q: Do you remove the white film on the back?

No. Actually the mirror is fine after I found out I have to remove the film.

Q: How flexible are they can they be bend to semi circle

They CAN bend. Note: TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!! However you plan to do this, my suggestion is to use something solid as a form or pattern. Whether they will bend to semi-circle would depend on the size of the diameter you intend to have. Personally, I have not tried this, but you could probably touch 2 mirrors end-to-end lengthwise. I would also recommend that you use heat to prevent the reflective backing from crinkling up and the plastic from cracking.
