This is what you call a good investment. I bought this for my young daughter who absolutely loves it. Me and her have spent many hours looking at different things. She was a newbie to this and so was i. It is not difficult to figure the microscope out at all. Just needs a tiny bit of practice. She managed to do it in a few minutes :) the microscope is sturdy. Worth every penny.

a good microscope for a persons first microscope it is well built and not like the cheaper plastic versions the instructions could be better no explanation in detail on what lens to use for different applications no instruction at all on the phone adapter you can work it out but would be better if given a bit more detail in the instructions other than that it is a good quality for the money , mine was bought as a christmas present for my grandson and hese very happy with this

bought this on amazon black Friday deals but the power cord plug one of the pin eas broken so I had to return it due to lack of replacement availability

Arrived on time and well packaged. Christmas gift that recipient loved. Spent lots of time with as had purchased slides and book too. Fascinating.

I am not sure about lenses if they are good or not. The stage I am finding out.

Bought for my wife as a birthday present as she had a very basic one as a child. Good magnification, top and bottom LED lights that are powered by mains and battery. Useful phone support so that you can take pictures.

Great for people who know nothing about this product to get a good idea/start into microscopy.

I have been impressed with this for the price and quality. It arrives in a whole carrying case, with a dedicated place for the included slides, as well as the other optical pieces. This makes it easy to safely store in between uses. My kids, from ages 4-10 are able to use it independently. Excellent addition to our home classroom!

Good micro for starting

this was just what i was looking for in a family microscope. easy to use, fairly simple to get clear images. My kids are 5 so they lost interest quickly on each slide but i believe they will use it more and more as they get older.

The microscope is ok, very hard to focus but possible. The light is very bright and dimming well. The phone attachment is completely useless - I tried 3 different phones - the weight of the phone defies the suction cups and the phone keeps falling out of the eye piece hole. The weight of then phone also tilts the podium away so getting a clear image is nearly impossible.

Would like things a little tighter. Eye pieces and such
