With a little work this Cozy Sack is absolutely awesome!
What an awesome piece of "furniture" ;) A little tough to unpack and separate, but we were able to get to full FLUFF within only 6 hours. This Cozy Sack 7-feet Bean Bag Chair is worth its money, in our opinion. At the end, I included my thoughts on the dislikes mentioned, about this product, by other reviewers. 1. It arrived 5 days earlier than promised 2. Chocolate color is exactly as expected 3. Size is very generous, but after reading many reviews I was prepared for it. It is no bigger than 7 feet, though. Fully fluffed it is over 3 feet tall. 4. Extremely comfy, very soft, and we never sink even near the floor as mentioned in another review 5. We LOVE the feel and look of the microfiber cover, excellent quality. I washed it upon arrival and it's still perfect! 6. It doesn't seem to collect lint/animal hair very easily (we have 3 cats who love this thing as well, lol) 7. Great for 1 person or more. Adding a person only minimally (if at all) shifts the one already on it, very nice. 8. The 70 lbs of weight are actually keeping the Cozy Sack right where it is supposed to be. 9. My teenagers wanted this bean bag and I, personally, did NOT expect to like it as much as I do!! 10. The Cozy Sack seems quite indestructible. It's been jumped on, climbed on, tossed and more. This is made from high quality materials. Some reviews mention that this bean bag is too lumpy/clumpy and too firm. We took the time to tease apart the foam a bit before letting it sit to expand the rest of the way. It was a little bit of work and it took maybe 30+ minutes, but we now have pure softness and comfort. It took all but 6 hours of wait before it was fully fluffed!! There are some people who feel the bean bag does not provide enough head/back support. That all depends on where you sit or lay on it. You can always grab a pillow if needed, problem solved. It can be kind of heavy for some people to move around to vacuum under it, but the average adult should be very well able to move it around as needed. It is 70 lbs., so you know it's not a feather weight. There were some reviews in which it was mentioned that the person sank to the floor when sitting on it. We couldn't even get anywhere near the ground, and we really tried. Good luck and enjoy your awesome new seat;)

It's awesome!
August 2019 UPDATE: I finally got rid of my beloved poof! I still loved it & it was still great at fluffing up, just not quite as much as when I first got it. I was however debating out just getting some more filler or replacing it with the same thing... I regularly fluffed it every few months & washes the cover often in the washing machine. After rolling it down to the curb it was amazingly fluffed up!! So... on that note it could have just been that we needed a super extended fluffing time haha! Either way.. it’s ended it’s time at our home but always loved it & just decided to change up the floor plan & move on to something else... it held up amazingly well & could have lasted longer even! March 2015 UPDATE: I still have this wonderful Chair/Couch poof and love it just as much as I did the first day I got it! It has flattened out quite a bit since this first days/months/year but.. it is still just as comfortable and cozy. It fluffs right up when I take the effort to roll it around and fluff it, but it also feels great once it's settled down into it's cozy shape. The only thing I think I would change is maybe at this point adding a bit of more "fluff" in to it in a few months, but even if I didn't It's held up very well with two dogs & every day heavy use! Great Job! thanks! I don't think I will ever get up and do anything ever again! everyone who has come over since I go this LOVE it! I got it as low cost extra seating in my family room. It's lovely! they kids & adults all love it. It comes with one interior cover (with a small zipper to add in additional "fluff" if wanted) and an exterior cover that you can take off and wash as needed. My sister got the "other, official" brand and her's didn't have an interior cover to keep all the fluff in when she wanted to wash the exterior cover! I do love it & would happy make the same decision again to get the same one! it is large, and takes quite a few days if not weeks to fully "fluff" up and get truly as comfy as it can be.. but it's worth the wait for it to expand and settle in! I got the 6' one and it's a bit small for two full grown adults to lay down on it unless you are quite cozy. I think the 7' would be great for more of a social seating area. the 6' is perfect for a lounging spacious couch too! 3 kids fit perfectly fine on the 6' bag.

Cozy is the Word!
I waited a year after buying my first Cozy Sack(4ft) to review so I could give an idea of the durability of this chair. I just bought my second chair (5ft) and my affinity for this item has not changed from the first moment I opened the box. I and my whole family are in love with this chair. In fact I had to buy a second one because a year later everyone is still fighting over who gets to sit in it. Just like all the other reviews, its bigger than you imagine, so make sure you have a good amount of space to put it in. Despite its size, they are light enough to move around but it is squishy enough that its a little awkward to do that so make sure you open/assemble it where you want it to go. Easy to put the cover on and easier yet to just let it expand for a day or two. I use it for my game room so putting it with the circle ends vertical to the ground makes it perfect for sitting up and having back support (the 5ft more so than 4ft). If you are taller, you will prob want some kind of pillow support for your head for the maximum lounging experience. I also turn my 4ft Cozy, circle ends horizontal, and its flatter for a more reclined position, perfect for reading and even sleeping. Yes, I've fallen asleep multiple times in this chair. It stays in the position you use for as long as you want, flattens out a little over time, never enough to be overly uncomfortable, but all you have to do is roll it a little and it fills back out on its own. I've left mine in the same position for months and never felt a need to reposition. If you have back problems, I can tell you its one of the best things I've ever sat in. However, you will be a lot closer to the ground and getting back up can be a little bit of an issue. My mom has had back surgery and when she comes over she always wants to sit in the this chair, but we have to help her back up or she has to roll out and then maneuver off the ground. Spills and pets have made no major impact on this chair. It cleans extremely easily, even to just wipe off (although you can machine wash the cover which I have not done) and the material is strong and yet soft. I have a red and a black and so far no staining, tears, and nothing really overly sticks to it (dust, lint). This is all with 3 dogs, multiple moves from game room to front-room, two-three people on it at once, and a 6'5'' brother doing his best to smother it. Fantastic product and I wish I had one in every room of the house!

Good enough. Don't order outside of USA!
I never had a bean bag, or anything similar. This product shouldn't really be called a "bean bag", because the filling is made of small rectangular shaped foam blocks which are really soft and in the end also very comfy. Someday I'll get a "Love Sac" to compare the two because from what I found on the internet, the filling is different. All the other reviews seem very old or at least they'll make you wonder if they are actually legit (based on the other products the same people have reviewed etc.)... IMHO: if you review a $200+ product you shouldn't just have 10-$50 products in all your other reviews. One important detail is for anyone purchasing this product from outside the USA (or any other bean bag, love sac, cozy sac etc.).: BEWARE!! These large sacs/bags are VERY heavy, this specific 7-feet xx-large sac was 32Kg. and I had it shipped to South America... which in the end cost me a little over $700. So yeah, keep that in mind because the weight was not specified in the product details when I purchased it. Some notes: * For now I like the feel of the fabric, but it just doesn't feel like $259 and I'm not sure it will look the same after the first wash (but will update this comment in the future) * The foam blocks (will provide aprox. size in next update) just seem a bit too big, so you have to reshape the sac to make it real comfy after you use it for 30 minutes or more (but I guess that depends on how lazy you are) * The inner bag seems pretty strong, but there's this white foam dust that filters through it (it does NOT come through the outer cover), so it will make a mess if you decide to replace/remove the outer cover. * Make sure you have enough space, these 7-feet sacs take up quite a bit of room. * I'll have to try it myself, but I'm sure that normal "bean bag" sacs will make an irritating noise compared to the foam filling * I'm convinced that people with back problems should NOT use these kind of products. So will I purchase the product again or recommend it? Only if you intend to ship it to someone in the USA, otherwise it's not worth it. But like I said: I'll have to try other similar products before I can say that this one is the best option for you

Super Large and Comfortable
Going into my fourth year in college I've been on the search for a piece of furniture that will have the ability to let my body sink into it for comfort for reading and studying. With careful research I discovered the 4-foot Black Cozy Sac foam Bean Bag Chair Love Seat on Amazon. There were many other kinds of "sitting" pieces of furniture for reading that were way too expensive and it felt like there wasn't any luck until I came across this chair on Amazon. It was a no-brainer to purchase it due to all of the positive reviews. I've had the Cozy Sac for a few days now and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! It is exactly everything that I wanted...large enough for me to sink my body into and cozy up and read! It is comfortable, of good quality, and yes - it is large! The comfort that I have with this product is amazing ads my body literally sinks into it and is large enough to move around. There is even room for my beloved cat that loves to snuggle with me while I read. I am looking forward to this winter when my cat and I can snuggle into it and stay warm while I am reading! The delivery of the product was prompt. It came from Fed Ex in a box that was securely taped all around it. It was heavy to drag through the doorway. The Cozy Sac was vacuum packed in a couple layers of plastic and as soon as I remove the plastic it began to expand in size. I periodically kept fluffing it around to enable its expansion. Now that the Cozy Sac is at its capacity I decided to put the microsuede cover on it last night. I was dreading this process because I could only imagine what kind of a hassle this was going to be. Fortunately it was a breeze and took less than five minutes to get the cover on. The only downfall that I see with it is that the Black is not a true black as it is more of a "washed out" black, almost grey in color. I have a black microsuede sofa and there is a significant difference it the colors. It's really not an issue with me. Another minor issue is that new things smell and most of the time new things kind of smell good to me. The Cozy Sac has a new smell to it but it is more like the smell of a room full of rubber basketballs. It doesn't bother me any and the smell will wear off in due time. So far I am very pleased with my purchase. It is definitely worth the $134 that I paid for it! I am excited for my continued use of this product and definitely recommend it to a friend!

BEST PURCHASE EVER!
Our family LOVES this bean bag. We weren't sure if we should order the 6 or 7-ft, but went with the 6-ft based on other reviews describing the size. It's perfect. On movie nights there's 3 people laying on it very comfortably. My husband and I can both lay on it with our 4-year old and 8-year old and no one feels squished. When it starts to flatten out, just pick it up and push the foam around and it's big and comfy again. We "fluff" it up about once a week because we constantly have children or adults laying on it (or doing Ninja rolls onto it). I was concerned the microfiber cover would make me hot after laying on it for awhile, but it doesn't. I have back and neck issues and will wander out to the bean bag in the middle of the night when I'm in pain. The pain goes away on the bean bag because the memory foam conforms to your body and doesn't hit any pressure points that cause pain. All my kids wish we would get rid of their regular beds and put bean bags in their rooms instead. Our oldest will go to college next year and has already requested that we send him to school with a suitcase and a bean bag. I can't say enough about how great this chair is! The set up was easy. Just make sure you open the box in the room you are keeping the bag in because it's quite large and won't fit through a doorway if you try to move it. We've had ours since the beginning of the year and haven't taken the cover off to wash it yet, although it's probably time. The zipper is heavy duty. The seams are holding up and I see no wear and tear on the bag considering how much it is used in our house. A definite must-purchase! :)

Worst purchase EVER - read before you buy!
This is hands down the worst purchase I've made on Amazon, which is saying a lot since I buy just about everything here. First off, it arrived extremely compacted, hard as a rock -- and remained that way after being cut out of the box (had to cut it out as there was no way to get it out otherwise). We left it in its rock-like form for a couple of days, thinking it would magically inflate like everyone else's did. No go -- it remained unchanged the entire time. Deciding to take matters into my own hands, I went to fluff up the contents. Here came problem number 2: The internal bag/liner bag zipper was broken. There was literally no way to pry it open (we even tried using pliers, all futile). In my frustration a good 30 minutes later, I went ahead and cut a long opening in the liner bag, just along the zipper, to get to the contents of the bag. The contents are a nightmare in and off themselves. EACH SHRED was glued to the other one! It took serious manpower and a hardcore workout, with both of my hands submerged in this bag to even begin to make a dent in this rock of a mass formation I had sitting in the middle of my living room. A good 2.5-3 hours later (NO EXAGGERATION), I emerged out of the living room with styrofoam covering my entire body. The living room was a complete mess and I couldn't stand up straight because all of this manual labor left me with a back injury (not kidding -- although the fact that I have a herniated disc to begin with could be partially to blame here). The "chair" was now fluffed. Next order of business was getting this styrofoam-covered mess with a huge hole down the center into the outer cover. Now, I know what you're thinking: Why not sew up the hole you cut open? Yes, I got that idea too, except we had just moved and there was no sewing kit anywhere to be found... plus, I was entirely too fed up with the thing to bother with it any more than I absolutely had to. My husband and I had put the microfiber cover it (which was by now also covered in styrofoam -- that stuff gets everywhere with its static!), and left it to sit and fluff or whatever it was going to do. Next morning, I was utterly shocked to see the monstrosity into which this thing grew overnight. It was enormous, and actually did look quite fluffy and comfy. I was willing to forgive its size, along with the fact that my back was still hurting badly from the day before... all if it was just comfortable to sit in. Well, guess what? It is NOT in any way comfortable at all!! The thing is in no way supportive. You see those photos of the girl sitting comfortably with her back propped up by the chair? Yeah, NOT going to happen! It's a flat, shapeless mass that remains that way no matter how hard you try to position or "mold" it into any kind of supportive shape. The only way to "sit" on this thing, is flat on your back -- basically a lying down position (except of course your feet from knees on down will be left dangling on the floor -- unless you're a small child, in which case this would make a great bed). I realize this entire review is basically one giant rant, but I do need to get it out of my system. I also feel that anyone purchasing this thing needs to be aware of all points made here... mainly because once you get it in your home, there's NO GETTING IT OUT! The "Cozy Sack" is such an enormous entity that there's no way to so much as roll it out of our front door, never mind stuff it in the car to take it to the dump (and we do have a truck!). If anyone out there has ideas on how to get rid of it, I'd love to hear them, because I personally have no clue what to do with it. It's useless to us and takes up about a good percentage of our living space; I'd love nothing more than to just get rid of it, if only I knew a way. The obligatory one star is from my cat. He thinks this is the best cat bed ever made.

It's an alright bean bag but it's Not a Lovesac!
So, I've had this cozy sac since June 2021 which is plenty of time to know all the good and bad for this particular brand. I'll list all the positives first and then the negatives last. First plus, I really like the outer shell and the material. I ordered the chestnut brown color in the faux suede (I'm pretty sure it's faux bc you can wash it) and it's a huge plus that it can be washed in the washing machine no problem! I've washed it only once so far and it came out looking like it was brand new so it doesn't start falling apart or you finding a bunch of loose threads along the seems after going through the wash and dryer! It's a very well made sac and is quite easy to manage unzipping the outer shell to wash whenever needed. The couple negatives I've come to find about this particular sac though is that I am so very disappointed in this sac's comfort level compared to the Lovesac's I have experienced over the years and that the actual Lovesac brand blows this cozy sac out of the water big time! It's quite difficult to fluff as well bc it's actually pretty heavy and just super bulky. I find myself wanting to re-fluff just about every single time I use it. My experience with the Lovesac's though, a Lovesac very very rarely if ever needed re-fluffing like this cozy sac needs. I was finding myself feeling extremely uncomfortable after sitting for long periods of time, and even slept on it a few times only to toss around all night and wake up with a sore back in the morning! I've slept on actual lovesac's before and it was like sleeping on a literal cloud! All in all, I wish so much that I had gone ahead and just saved up to buy an authentic Lovesac instead of going with this MUCH cheaper version. All in all, I would say that if you're looking at getting this cozy sac for children, then I think this will be perfect for any child but if you're wanting this sac for adults, I would suggest saving up to invest in a real Lovesac! There's just no question of the Lovesac's superiority over (I believe) all other brands!
