Always nice to have a neew sharp blade.

These work great. They are a great way to shave off wood. They leave a rough finish that can easily be smoothed with sandpaper, depending on your needs. I'd buy just a replacement shaver and not the handle if they sold them that way. The handles seem to be able to last forever.
