Works wonderfully on ps3 controller
I received the package quickly and it fit perfectly I was able to install them myself and get my PS3 working. The price is great and the batteries are good.if I had more controllers I would buy more

Great price and batteries charge/work great.
Product was well packaged and delivered quickly. Product works as promised. Too early to tell longevity of batteries. Would buy again.

I can play my ps3 again 😭
Worked as expected for DualShock 3 all you have to do to remove the oem battery which for me was made by Toshiba, and remove the bracket that was holding that battery. Then you will be left with a bigger plastic frame that will fit exactly this battery. It fit as expected and the connector was an exact match to the oem Sony DualShock 3. Before putting the controller back together I pressed the PS button to make sure the battery works and it did. Then I put the controller back together which was the hardest part and played my Ratchet and Clank on the ps3 🙂

Powered on...
Not the ideal size or clipps needed to be inserted in to the controllers but nothing a little double sided tape didn't fix

Exactly what you're hoping for if your old PS3 controllers are toast
Easy to replace, exactly the same size and connector as the original PS3 batteries. The screwdriver and shim are really useful as well. I was delighted to see that the USB cable they came with will let you charge the controllers in parallel with the original charger on the PS3's front USB ports. I found PS3 controllers to be finnicky about where and how they charge. I bought 2-2 packs for my 4 old controllers and all were perfect. My old batteries were charging slow, dying fast and slightly bulged, so I'm glad to get rid of them.

Fantastic Solution (With a few caveats)
I purchased this for my CECHZC2U controller after its internal battery started bulging and discharging. I had done research ahead of time on disassembly, but there were a few things that I had to do to get this to work. The kit is extremely comprehensive, tools included are a welcome addition, two batteries is an incredible value and the packaging is stellar. I was surprised at the lack of any adhesives, I think if the price was increased just a bit to include them it’d be an understandable change. Also my controller natively wouldn’t fit the battery in it, after making a few test fits I noted there are two “T” shaped structures that come out of the bottom of each analog recess, getting rid of these with a dremel (a wire cutter should be fine) will shave off just the few precious milimeters to allow the battery to sit horizontally just below the reset button on the PCB. Although see if your controller is the same as mine as some layouts vary. Doing this allowed me to reassemble painlessly, even getting the bottom middle to clear the battery and “snap” in ensuring a stock, perfect seamless fit. Great product, absolutely worth it.

1 of 2 batteries almost burned my house down and cost me a controller.
One of the batteries was "free" of it's plastic protective shell inside the box, and was loose in the package. There was a sizable "dent" in the battery that I observed but didn't think much of it. Turns out, that's REALLY BAD for LITHIUM BATTERIES. I installed this battery without issue, and my controller did not turn on when trying to power it up (discharged in storage or shipping?) I plugged in the controller and went on my day, installing the second pickle battery in another controller. About 30 minutes later I smelled something electrical - like the "magic smoke" we know of with electronics. The battery had went into thermal runaway and melted the controller housing and left scorch marks on the PCB near where the wires come out of the battery. I threw the controller outside in my fire pit (sand bottom) and just checked on it, did not go thermo-nuclear but I'm out of a controller when all I did was spend $14 on 2 replacement batteries. I'm not making this up. If I wasn't at home and caught this I might be filing an insurance claim. Do i think this will happen with every pickle power battery? Of course not, but it happened to me, and I am furious.
