Great book!
I am a second year teacher and looking to replace lesson plans that didn’t work and step up the learning aspect. This book has SO many great ideas, surveys, rubrics, and more!

Where has this been my whole teaching career?
I absolutely love this book. It has great time saving worksheets for me to use in class! The author has Decades of teaching art experience… Such good quick things to be able to use in class. I really like that I can access videos online to go with it!

A scaffold to use when building lessons & offering literacy connections.
This is a re-write of "The Art Student's Workbook" with more content, more writing/reflection pages, and a variety of rubrics. This book has enough "stuff" for 3 years of lessons. Just look at the table of contents page to see. But every lesson can be done with any media you have available. Lessons are open enough that each student will have a different/personalized artwork yet still meet the required elements. It is well organized. I personally have class sets of the student edition.

Flat
I won’t bother to try to return it, but I won’t use any of it either. It is also obviously politically one sided to the left. Hammering students to a certain way of viewing either way is unprofessional in education. The core art lessons should not be taught with adult political slants. I regret this purchase. Outside of that, the content lacks and is either partial or flat.
