Nice smell, worked well!

So I tried it yesterday night, after a hot towel on my skin to remove. the excess oil and dirt of the day so I do not have to scrub that much. It is a potent product. You can feel it working in your skin. It does not lather much. That's not a problem for me. It did not leave a residue. It rinses well. After rinsing it, my skin did not feel angry. This is bold move because I previously had a reaction to some neem oil on my face years ago. I will update this review. Update. For the suds lovers, you'll be truly disappointed, this does not lather. I have to create a later in my hands than use it on my face ( don't rub directly on the skin because it has particular of neem which can scratch!) . The very fine later does not suds much on my face but it does clean and sooth. It feels so much better than the black soap I have been using on my face. I recently switched to a very nice face oil with essential oils and it was slightly itchy when I was using after the black soap. I was blaming it on the potency of essential oils. But after I used with this soap bar: no reaction whatsoever and I am thrilled. It is not hassle free because of the time it tales to get a foam in your hands but I am adding one star for the effect. One more thing, it feels much softer on face than when washing your hands with it, especially if you rub it in you hands. So this is why I advise not to rub it on your face directly! Update 2 liking this more and more, I cut a bigger piece so it lathers much better than the slice I had cut first for trial. Had a recent episode of follicultis ( I messed up with a self inflicted facial a while back and see results of mistreating my skin)/ Went to a derm who concluded to quickly it was acne, threw some antibiotics at me along with substandard exfoliating wash and and "acne"moisturizer.... I used that wash twice...mistake ( I should have know better) Ran back to my neem soap and I appreciate it even more.... So I am adding a star and more love for this genuine natural product.

Once or twice a year, I get eyelid dermatitis. Red, itchy, dry, scaly, swollen eyelids. Not pretty. This is not related to any skincare or eye makeup I'm using. I've determined over the years that this is fungal related and needs to be killed off. In the past, I've used apple cider vinegar or tea tree oil (be sure to dilute with another oil and don't get it in your eyes). I've read that neem is good for killing off fungal related infections, but everyone always talks about how horrible it smells. I decided to try this soap and am happy to report it doesn't stink. I've been using it for about 4 days and my infection has cleared up. I'm going to keep using it though because my skin seems to have a smoothness and glow that it didn't have before (I'm 64). Very pleased with this product.

Amazing! Very effective! The first day I used this cleansing bar, the itching from a mystery rash on my right arm was soothed. I hadn't expected to feel relief so quickly, since no other product had been effective, not even hydrocortisone. Some days, nothing I tried helped. Other times, the itching might be soothed for an hour or so, but the relief never lasted long. Then I tried the Neem bar, and almost immediately, the itch was soothed, and the relief lasted the whole day. No product works for every person, every time, but the Neem cleansing bar worked for me -- and for many other reviewers. Some reviewers advised leaving the soap on the skin for a minute or two, no more than five, before rinsing it off. Following that advice, I left the soap on a minute before rinsing. Would it have worked as well if I had rinsed off the soap immediately? Maybe, but I was so desperate for relief that I followed their advice. You should decide what is right for you, according to your skin sensitivity; I suggest erring on the side of caution. Another thing reviewers commented on was whether or not the soap smelled good. Since studies say everyone's sense of smell differs slightly from other people, it's natural that some found the smell pleasant while others strongly disliked the smell. My own perception is that overall, the soap smells nice, but with an underlying slightly unpleasant scent. For me, the soap was so effective in soothing my skin, I would use it no matter how it smells. You won't know whether you'll love it, hate it, or somewhere in between, until you try it yourself. For those with strong sensitivity to smell, I suggest to buy only a single bar if this is your first purchase.

We are a bit picky about soap. I'll admit it. Going back to bar soap since most every liquid one has more additives than soap should have been easier than it turned out to be. Awhile back I stumbled upon neem soap and found one we both really liked. Naturally, the price doubled by the time we needed another bar. I found this one available on subscription and we hoped for the best. It's not awful, but it's difficult. If you lather it up in a washcloth the lather doesn't transfer. If you lather it up in your hands, same problem. If you want lather you just have to rub yourself down with it. And the suds disappear just as soon as the washcloth shows up. For those of us who use soap to shave this won't work. I'm chalking this one up to experience. We ended up throwing most of them away...

Use this soap on myself as well as my pet. It medicates but leaves skin and hair soft not dry.

nice smelling tea tree root soap. lathers well and seems to help itchy skin. Well wrapped, a little small but normal when compared to other handmade soaps. Tea tree oil is being used a lot for sensitive skin and I have found that it does help. I have quite sensitive skin that often gets itchy from ordinary soaps, but my skin tolerated this soap very well. I want to thank the seller for giving me the opportunity to receive this product at a reduced or free cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I only review types of products that I used in the past and have a baseline to judge them by.

I really like this soap. It is gentle and cleanses well and washes off in a clear, clean manner. Right below my eyebrow I've had a serious "dry patch" for about a year (would you believe?)....I tried everything, even the finest and most expensive cream out there, nothing worked. Well I've been using this soap for a week now and the patch is almost gone. I am no longer itchy after showering. I plan to pick up their neen oil to slather all over me after the shower. Just love this company, they're small, they care and I love giving them my business. Thanks Naked Neem, thanks Amazon. .
