plastic guide broke first use. Requested replacement - fell on deaf ears

Going to provide a little TMI but I believe you need a reason to buy a product like this. I mean obviously it is because you need some strings in your shorts/pants if you don't have them anymore.I am a combat veteran, I have PTSD and some times get into very dark places. This landed me into an institute once, I could not wear any of my shorts because they all had draw strings. So I had to wear the dr type gowns you get when you are at a hospital. The whole thing is using the string to ya know, decide it was your time.Now getting away from the dark, I had them cut all the drawstrings from my shorts so I could wear those, I get very hot very easily and have to be in shorts, tank tops, and flip flops, even at 40 degrees.I had lost weight due to some medical stuff that came up thanks to time served and I couldn't put my phone in my shorts without them wanting to fall off my not so round bottom. Yeah we are talking about flat behinds. So my wife finally got this. I HAVE DRAWSTRINGS IN ALL MY SHORTS AGAIN!!!! I don't have to worry about what weight is in my pockets. This little kit made the job super simple. The guide works great, makes short work of moving the draw string, you can hook and pull. It all works great. Something so small but big impact in my life.

This product did exactly what I needed. My only concern is the 'fishing pull' got bent to the point where the end broke off just as I was finishing pulling the cord through. So next time I will have to figure out a way to get it through.

Worked well to rethread gym shorts. Easy to use and several options to rethread!

Broke during first use. Didn’t work for me. I got the replacement drawstring about halfway around the waistline and then the plastic broke, which let go of the drawstring, leaving it halfway through. It was impossible to complete the process. See photo.Edit: although the plastic tool broke, I was able to use a different bendable metal part to get the drawstring through the sweat pants. In the end it worked, but it was a frustrating process.

Very simple and effective tool.

This would have worked well if the drawstrings they provided fit through the eyelets of the threader. The larger eyelet broke immediately and I had to melt the smaller eyelet to make it pliable. Unfortunately, I had to break the smaller eyelet to get the drawstring out once the threading was completed.

Works as expected. The strings are a bit thinner than I would have liked, but they still get the job done. The tools provided are a huge plus, though.
