Not perfect but hours of fun!
Update: For less than $100, this is a great game system. There are so many ways to play some of the most popular games available from the late 20th century. It has all the emulators. Cons: it can get hot. I bought a fan to try keeping it cooler. Some games don’t work but most are identical to original releases. I found “save state” by pressing both joysticks down simultaneously. You pick a slot first and save state of game progress to that slot. You must start the game first and then pick the correct slot and then “load slot” to return where you left off. Pros: hours of fun especially for young kids who were born long after these game systems have disappeared. Controllers very responsive because USB dongles are included. I also bought a wired Logitech controller that works very well. I connected it to home wifi so I will try the upgrading online option to see if that fixes some games once I first create a backup chip.

Great Initial Performance
This product delivered fairly quickly. Out of the box, it worked great and has tons of old school games which was amazing the get to play ones I did as child. The system would not save games so I had to start over. The 3rd time I tried to turn on the system, it would not turn on. I reached out to Customer Support. They asked for a order number and product name. I provided that info and they have not responded. That was two weeks ago. Great system if they work consistently. Still waiting to get mine fixed/replaced.. Update: Discovered that the plug shorted and actually melted the plastic

Worth the price!
I was skeptical this would be worth the price. So many games on a cheap device that emulates code at a reasonable framespeed? Doubtful... BUT for the price and the nostalgia I was curious enough to buy it. Let me say that if this was $50 more then it would not be worth it... but at the price I purchased it, it was worth the price. It is a simple, plug-and-play deivce. It came with an HDMI cable, power adapter and two Playstation-like knock off controllers that are battery operated (AAA bateries not include). If you already have a blue-tooth compatible controller then it will probably work with this system, if you don't then the included controllers are okay, but not great — but you can't expect perfection for such a cheap price. Also, be aware that whoever produced this product seems to have simply collected a lot of open source software and mass-dumped ROM files onto a memory card. You will need to have at least some average-to-above-average technical skill to understand the UI. Also, not all ROM files seem to have been fully tested and some do not run. I have found that most of everything runs, but every once in a while there is a game that either won't adapt to the controllers or simply won't run at all. The user interface to find and organize games is just good enough to not be useless, but be prepared to spend some time getting used to all of the menu triggers and systems that it uses to deliver games. Each emulator has its own internal menu system in addition to the system's overall menu system. I spent an hour adding games to a favorites list only to discover I had added them to the wrong favorites list... but I was able to easily figure out how to add to the correct one. So, if you are an average-or-better techie and nostalgic about video games, consoles. and arcade cabinets, then this is definitely a good place to start. The cost is not much more than the latest PS5 or Xbox game. I have already recommended it to a couple of friends.

WOW! Impressive. Works smoothly.
Came with photographed instructions on setting up the controller. Also network but I'm not sure the network is needed or not. Supports wired or wireless. Once the controller is setup you can pick what console you want and it will give you a list of the games in alphabetical order. Yes you have to scroll through the games but it does go into a fast scroll mode after a page or so. If you think about it with 50000+ games how else can you do this? When you select a game it automatically loads the required emulator and starts the game. I was looking for a couple very rare games for the c64. It didn't have them I was surprised. So I loaded the 50000 game list and found them for the atari 800 emulator. Selected them and started playing! I have been gaming ever since consoles started in the early/mid 70s, and this is the ultimate system! Even had my old star path supercharger games for my atari 1200 (vhc) I have in the attic. Now I can play escape from the mindmaster again! It is my favorite atari 1200 game.

From awesome to worrisome
Day 1: everything was fantastic! Great memories and plenty of choices Day 2: N64 steering was not working, unable to update due to zero space available 😢 Day 3: lagging bad on most ps1 and like games. As long as you stick with 2D style old games you might be ok... waiting for a replacement now and hope for the best At the price it's about what I expected

45,000 games is staggering
You will be overwhelmed no doubt... if you are 55+ you are going to remember most of these games and just hearing the music is worth the price of admission. I was a total game head and spent a huge amount of time and money in Mall arcades as a freight pilot with nothing to do for 12 hours a day. My friend that put me onto this challenged me to name a game that was NOT on this system and I could not do it. I thought I knew so pretty obscure games but this thing is crazy. ONE caveat, read about controllers online before you buy and start to play. Oh it's Ok.... but just be advised that some controllers particularly the photo units such as the pistol on Duck Hunt for instance were made to work with a CRT type TV and no one seems to have those anymore. You can use a mouse... and USB controller will plug in but if you have a favorite might want to check for compatibility if that is a deal breaker for you. Comes with two knock-off controllers that are adequate but not as good as the OEM PlayStation or Nintendo units. You can feel the difference, but for the price.... what do you want? The whole system costs close to what one of those controllers costs new. I have had a ball with it.
