The book is great. It can be started first with left side pages and once the child is comfortable and go with right side pages.

This book is excellent. It has real world life applications and you can truly see if your child can comprehend what's being asked of them, show their work and understanding. They use facts about landforms, statues or things like population of cities in their word problems to allow your kid to learn about new things in the world and how useful math can be. Thank you to whomever wrote this book! Please put out more for higher math work so we can use throughout their education.

I purchase this book for my 2nd grade kid because he is always confused on + or - word problem. Beside math part, this book contains some interesting facts. Good for kids to read.

I liked using this book for my class. The pictures were helpful when solving problems & the answer key in the back was useful. I liked being able to make copies for my students especially when there was a sub for my class. It is easy to read & understand the problems from easy to advanced.

I buy these for my kids for homeschool. They are perfect for extra practice. I love them!!

Fostered independent study, and assisted with rasing her testing scores and child not only did better in class but also raised her Nationwide state school testing score in this area of math, achieving the most improved student award in class. Would recommend, and repeat as gifts for any struggling student.

This is another good math workbook for word problems. It focuses on addition and subtraction, but it has some multiplication and division that can be done by repeating addition and subtraction, which I think is a bonus. It has 600 problems and an answer key.Also, I found these free and printable worksheets for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, exponentiation on the Beestar website for extra practice with addition and subtraction with other math topics not covered with this workbook.
