This is a fantastic product with a reasonable price tag. My home office needs to be low light for the type of work I do on the computer, and I realized I was getting eye strain from the lack of backlight behind my monitors. I ordered these lights in order to get some relief, and I am very pleased with the quality and performance. Just for clarification, the lights come attached to one another (one power cord connects to both lights). These can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and can be attached to the back of a TV or monitor easily by the included adhesive bracket. There are numerous color options and brightness levels. It can be set for a daylight type of setting or can have a more warm color. The product includes an attached controller which is simple to use, with only three buttons. To power the lights on or off, just press the top button. This has drastically improved my eye strain, and as a bonus, I can now set my office ambiance to whatever mood I’m in!

I chose this product beacuse I have know the brand for a while and I know that their devices are made with a good quality. I used these lights as a night light on my bedroom since an old led strip had just finished its useful life. This was a considerable upgrade over that led strip. The device came in a neat box by Govee, it was well organized and devided into separate sections the lights, the two cables and two mounts. There were two cables, one that conects the light to the control and another that conects the power to the control. There were provided two mounts, one for placing upright on some type of flat surface and another one with two sided 3m branded tape which can be used to mount the lights to vertical surfaces. The setup was quite easy as I had already the Govee app and I just had to search for the devices wifi and connect to it and open the app and insert some info about the local wifi. Thats the set up. Probably finished the set up in less than three minutes. The lights are really cutomizable, as with both combined you can show up to 12 different colors using both lights (six colors per light). The app has some useful features as changing the different colors and sections that will light up. You can costumize a timer, brightness and how the light will change with a beat of the music. Integrating the lights to Alexa or google is relatively simple. With both assistants, they can change the brightness, color, music color changing modes and you can even pair the Alexa so that it will gradually turn on the lights brightness before the alarm goes of in the morning. Overall, great light and under the normal lighting (bright white, warm white and mixed) they are really bright. However, bear in mind that with the colors the brightness will vary.

These things are fantastic as ambient lighting when I don't want to turn my lights on. Pop one behind your entertainment center and its easy to control the mood remotely. They feel solid so I'm sure they will last a while in my setup! I have a few ideas as to where to put my next couple of lights such as my computer desk, closet, etc. and just control them through Alexa. I think that will make everything look super clean. They are pretty small so they can fit in a lot of places and create dramatic effects. Govee is the best vee.

The remote control software is pretty good and easy to use, but this product alone really isn't enough to change the vibes of the room since it's not quite bright/long enough. If you're planning on buying more of these products (light bars/strips) to change the whole vibe of the room, these bars in particular is pretty decent value and have great lighting/color options. Just know that for the lights to be noticeable you'll need the room to be almost completely dark, and it'll only half illuminate the portion of the wall you point it at.

A good friend of mine received these as a gift for Christmas, which prompted me to purchase mine. I LOVE these lights. Setup: If you have set up smart devices before, it'll be just as easy. You get the app (I know, I know... another app, but you need it for the color settings!), plug it in and pair. The app is rather smooth and has great presets. You can pair it with your Alexa too I believe, but I have not because the one in my bedroom is broken. I have not used the adhesive strips for these lights. I have a ledge behind my bed that was the perfect height to tuck these away without adhering them. Use/Look: I leave mine on "aurora" most of the time and love it. This is not a reactive color setting, but is very calm. It has a few music/sound reactive ones as well. You will want to play around with them all because they all look and fade/glow differently. There are a ton though, so you'll find something you like. And if not, you can customize one! I have not touched the settings for music, but it seems they have two settings, reactive and connected. Connected being to other devices where it directly receives the audio, and reactive being reacting to everything in the room. This is great if you have a loud party or are chilling listening to music... but otherwise reactive reacts to EVERYTHING. If you're looking for a "romantic" mood, don't use reactive lol. You'll end up with the lights essentially strobing to the sounds. Learned from experience placing this behind my headboard. Also LOVE the wake up/sleep features. I use red light set to 30 minutes at night, where it dims from my preset brightness until it is off over that 30 minutes. Red light is best to keep your eyes adjusted for sleep, and this helps me unwind at night. I use the wakeup feature with a similar delay because I have blackout curtains, and it sometimes helps me wake up without the alarm by hitting bright white about 10 min before my alarm! Overall though, 10/10 lights. NO complaints so far. Scenes are great, lights are bright.

Não tenho Alexa nem Google Assistiant, mas controlo pelo app da Govee. Dá um tchan sim pra ver TV no escuro, tem umas opções estáticas e umas que ficam parecendo balada. Fiquei uns 15 minutos configurando um modo pra ver Batman (muito customizável) e deu uma enriquecida na experiência. Tranquilo de usar, tudo nos conformes.

Verdaderamente me gustaron mucho estas luces, son muy buenas en relación calidad precio. No iluminan de forma excesiva, son más bien una opción de RGB suave para personas que no buscan tanta ostentosidad en su set up. A mí me vinieron geniales para mi escritorio en el que buscaba un poco de luz ambiente, pero nada tan luminoso.

Using these behind a PC monitor and the lighting quality is excellent. Colors are vibrant, well diffused, and look clean even at higher brightness. Setup was quick and the app works well enough that I rarely use the inline controller. Build quality feels solid, but the cables are quite long for a desk setup and add extra cable management. I also wish there was an option to skip the inline controller entirely. Overall, great ambient lighting if you plan ahead for cable routing.

After two years of using these LED lights I’m genuinely impressed. Not only are they priced significantly lower than competing products, but they also don’t skimp on quality or functionality.
