This is great! I wanted to try teaching my hound to tether so she can enjoy more time outside while my Cavalier just wants to cuddle. (Both recent rescues) Also so I can take them more places with me. I looked at lots of stakes since the Brittany's we had used to be able to pull out traditional stakes. Also it's been such a WET season I wasn't sure any stake could hold. This does! Only a few minutes to install (used screwdriver to twist the last few turns, which is good because it will hold longer) and very sturdy. Both dogs (and I) hung out outside today for almost an hour and it didn't budge. I can tell when they get used to it and start darting after birds (I'm also using the bungee leash extensions on the dog and of the tethers, for their safety) it will hold well, even in grassy wet soil. This product is great! This is my second one because I ran over the first one with a large, powerful John Deere Tracker while mowing the grass three times. It nicked the top part but still held up fine. I bought this one as a backup in case I do it again. It if very sturdy and works great for dogs that are powerful and strong. I have a 60+ pd Catahoula that is all muscle and with all her tugging, the Intellileash keeps its position. I have a 30 foot rope attached to it and the swivel attachment keeps the rope from being knotted up. I would definitely recommend this product.

We purchased this stake to tie out our two dogs while camping. They are medium-large dogs (one is 65 pounds and really muscular, the other is ~80 pounds and really tall.) They can both pull like champions - which makes sense, since the bigger one is actually an Alaskan sled dog.All this said, we tied them both to this stake and it was really secure. It went into the ground well, even with the rocky soil that is New England. I think we have to check it and tighten once over three days. However, they were supervised the entire time and were (mostly) chill. They tried to chase a squirrel or two, and one deer. I would never suggest leaving a dog completely unsupervised on a tie out, but if you are out there with them this one is perfect for the task!

I purchased this product after much debate and research. I was very impressed by the well thought-out design and the company's response team. Even though we have an in-ground invisible fence system, I was warned by the breeder, that my Great Pyrenees puppy was not to be trusted without a visible fence or a sturdy tie-out. We can't have an above-ground fence in our neighborhood, so a tie-out that would hold a 100 lb.+ dog would be a necessity. So far, this Intelli-Stayk is everything I was looking for. Easy to install and remove when necessary and still very secure. The ground was pretty soft when I put it in, so I tested it by pulling the cable I had attached to it in every direction. It didn't budge a bit! My husband put it to the test later with the same result. Our puppy isn't full-grown yet but she's already pretty strong. Sometimes, she forgets that she's tied and will go running after our other dog (who's trained on the invisible fence). She knows when she reaches the end of the cable that she's not going any farther! This has really given us peace of mind in knowing that we can safely put our dog out for a little while and not have to watch her every second or walk around with her on the leash. We are very happy that we purchased this product.

This is BY FAR the BEST. I have a 90lb pitbull and she LOVES to be outside. She is adventurous and runs off so she spends most of the time inside. UNTIL NOW! In the morning when I am home I hook her to this and she is able to stay outside. It does t get tangled and is very sturdy. We live in south Florida and our yard is mostly sand. The screw goes down really far, it's very thick and sturdy. She cant pull it out. The little "cup" that goes around it keeps the line from getting tangled. I love this. I also bought the 30 foot line to go with it.

Wow!!! Super easy to install, strong, and power grip on the ground. I put two 70 lb American bullies on one of these. Screwed it in {only halfway} into the ground. It took nearly 3 days before they could pull it out (And trust me, they worked on pulling it out every second I had them outside!). I purchased another. Each dog on it's own IntelliLeash, screwed all the way into the ground and super WoW!!! The product kept two really destructive American bullies in my yard while my husband built a new fence around one entire acre. Its still sturdy and in place despite 3 days of rain. Gotta love this thing. I'm happy with it. Purchased the 24 ft. cable x2 for each dog as well for plenty of room to roam.

Ive tried a few different kinds of dog stakes and this has worked the best so far! Super study and not afraid it will break. Can definitely hold my 50 lb dog if put in the ground correctly. There are some ground types that it doesn’t work well in - super dry dirt, but goes in normal grass easy & study. I do need to use a screwdriver or something to screw it in all the way.

I thought this product was very sturdy and heavy and of good material however when I used it in my yard for my pitbull she pulled it out of the ground. So it was not strong enough for my pitbull but I do use it for my chiweenie which is a small dog.
