Great 3D printer
Don’t let the size fool you. This little machine is remarkably fast. It’s a quiet as a 3D printer can be and the print quality is great. This machine would be perfect if it could print polycarbonate. Besides that I’m very pleased. No tedious bed leveling required. Just load the model and print. Very easy filament changing. I have not used custom support.

Great Machine with some Buts...
I have had the machine for about 30 days and over all it is great. Amazingly simple to set up and have your first print going. For me it was about 10 minutes. The Flashforge software is simple enough for beginners and yet able to handle more advanced task. I have printed over 175 items in this time and had less than a 4% failure rate. All of my failures were either my fault or design issues. Now to the Buts.1st is the machine will only hold 1/2 kilogram spools with the door on. This means that you will have to make an adapter for the 1kg spools. there are many on Thingyverse to choose from.2nd is lighting. the lamp on the print head only covers the area in immediate print. I have overcome this with a selfie ring light. But this could have been easily fixed with a strip of LED in the cabinet top.3rd is a system disconnect between WIFI and USB. If you connect to WIFI it disconnects the USB. for me this is an issue since I work right next to the machine. Others probably won't see this as an issue.Other than those small complaints this is a great machine for beginners.

Great printer right out of the box
This is a great unit that has been running right out of the box with no issues.Only thing I would change is that it would take 1kg spools.I modified mine with a eSun filament dryer so I could run bigger spools.

Beware: Auto-Leveling and Print Bed Issues Overshadow Good Features
This 3D printer has some attractive features, but I must emphasize that its downsides in auto-leveling and print bed quality could be deal-breakers for many, particularly beginners.Auto-Leveling: A Time-Consuming ChallengeAuto-leveling this printer is a nightmare. The process has cost me countless hours, and its inconsistency makes it a major pain point. If you're not ready for a steep learning curve and hours of frustration, consider this a strong warning.Print Bed: Another Source of WoeThe print bed might look standard, but it's far from it. Debugging it has been near impossible, and I've had multiple failed prints as a result. On the Bright Side: Some Decent Features Built-In Camera: A nice touch for monitoring your prints. Cloud Printing: The integration with cloud print services is seamless, although this can't redeem the printer's significant flaws. WiFi: A theoretically useful feature, but in practice, it's finnicky at best.Final ThoughtsWhile the printer does offer some decent features like a built-in camera and cloud printing, these are overshadowed by the critical issues with auto-leveling and the print bed. Unless you're willing to invest a lot of time into debugging and fine-tuning, I would recommend looking elsewhere.Recommendation: Think Twice Before BuyingThe printer has potential, but the critical issues it possesses make it hard to recommend, especially for those new to 3D printing.

Do NOT buy refurbished!!
The refurbished model arrived with none of the accessories, including a power cable. While the machine booted fine, there was filament stuck in the extruder line from the previous buyer that prevented us from loading new filament. It is obvious that flashforge never tested the returned product. Do NOT buy a refurb from this company!!

Only for beginner who doesn’t care of quality, but print for fun.
We don’t like open frame style 3D printer due to dust concern, so we purchased this one. It works ok for small items, but it has some concern while printing project more than 80mm. We found out the tolerance to be the major problem, and it’s almost impossible to adjust it from the software. Their code modify from open source with unfriendly setting, so it takes time to modify the code. In addition, the hardware tolerance range possible too large, and it’s unstable even after calibration. So it does the job, it doesn’t do a good job from printing projects required more than 10 hours to finish with most flaw result in the end. Overall, it’s good for kid who just want to print something for fun, but not suitable for players want more accuracy print out items. It might be better to purchase lite or V1 due to the price since it’s a (3D) printer for beginner. BTW, you have to make your own stand-off for 1kg roll.
