I can't use just anything on my face. I have skin reactions to so many things that most "healthy, organic" items use as their base. Not this product. This product uses organic ingredients that my skin can tolerate. I barely have to use anything, in fact, I'm still working on the stuff that adhered to the lid and haven't dipped my finger into the actual jar yet. A very little bit goes a long way. It makes my very dry, flaky skin smooth and soft. Because I can use it without any adverse reactions and see positive benefits, I will be a customer for life.

This is a wonderful scrub, if a little intense. The key is to have your face and hands a bit moist when you apply the scrub to help dissolve the particles. But it is really fantastic on your hands, especially in the dry Northeast winter weather. I use it at night before bed; massage it into your hands, rinse and pat dry, then apply moisturizer. Your hands will feel fabulous! I am always on the hunt for beauty products that are organic and free of parabens and phthalates and preservatives, and I am happy I came across Herbal Choice Mari Facial Scrub. It smells nice, too. A little goes a long way, as the scrub is almost a thick paste. One jar should last you many months.

I never thought of using a facial scrub until a friend of mine who is very into his skin told me that exfoliating is important to help remove dead skin. This one caught my attention because it is certified USDA organic. I don’t like chemicals on my skin and I don’t want plastic beads going down the drain into our environment. Most importantly I want to comment on how wonderful my skin felt. It was so smooth I didn’t have to apply moisturizer afterwards. Definitely on top of my skin care list!

Organic, rates low (level 0 - the lowest) on EWG.org - Deep Skin site, so the safest and healthiest which is most important. It is pricey, and definitely an INTENSE scrub like the description says. It turned my skin REALLY red, instantly, and I don't have overly sensitive skin. However, the redness dissipated quickly, and my skin was so, SO soft afterwards, and it took the dullness away. I only used my hands to scrub. I am glad I didn't use my handheld scrubber/exfoliator as I said the the scrub is intense. I tried it the first day I got it, and have only used it once so far. Hours later, my skin still feels soft and great. A little goes a long way but it is messy, and somewhat tough to wash off. I am pleased with this product and would definitely recommend this item to others.

I have very dry, flaky skin so I use this product once or twice a week. After using, I pat my face dry, apply serum, then apply my moisturizer. This product makes my skin feel so nice and smooth. I LOVE the ingredients and the fact that it is vegan/cruelty-free. A little goes a long way, it's easy to use and it really cleanses well. I love it!By the way, I do not have sensitive skin, but if your skin is sensitive while using a regular exfoliating scrub, this product may be too intense for you.

If you can only handle a gentle exfoliation, this is not for you. I am always looking for a stronger exfoliation and this one is a winner. I love the fragrance and it is a wonderful scrub. My face feels so smooth afterwards and that is what a exfoliation should do. Plus it is a good price. You only need to use a little at a time. I love this product.
