The notch and string holding the notebook together is different - most notebooks have a vertical band. How it holds up over a longer time period is yet to be tested. Wow !!!!!I have never seen such a nice diary. The paper quality is superb. The luxurious feel and touch while holding gives a great look. I would definitely recommend this for daily use. Easy to carry and easy to handle.
