Not Salmon!
After prepping fiber for over a month, washing, combing ,carding I was so excited to dye my merino wool. A beautiful Salmon cor was exactly what I was looking for to blend in some Alpaca grey.This dye is GD hot pink, not Salmon. Not even a pretty hot pink, but a hideous cheap hooker hot pink. A months work put in trash barrel. This dye is a front to the color spectrum.

color not as advertised
I bought this color based on color chart from the company. I tried it on a variety of natural fabrics..cashmere,linen and cotton>> bright orange/neon coral-esp on cotton. The color does not have any pinkish hue....Very dissapointed! I used the washer machine method because it was the most convenient method for me.If you like the color on the fabrics- buy this.

It's salmon, and now my shorts are too. Smells gross.

Salmon, not everyone's favourite, but it's one of mine.
Just like it says on the tin, nice pinky, orange. I dyed a pastel-ly type shade by using a small amount and a rather stronger orange using more, and over dying with ecru. If you like experimenting with orange-y tones this is a nice one.

Im excited to put this dye to work dying elastic. I have heard its the best you can get for elastic dying.
