Versachem 82110 WrapIt 1" x 10' Repair Silicone Tape

This is the most amazing product! Living in CT we just experienced the longest, coldest weather; I can't remember such a freeze. Some of the heating pipes in our 85 year old house are exposed to outsides walls and they froze in multiple places. We bought a similar product to this but the one roll wasn't enough for our needs. Found this on Amazon and purchased 5 rolls. It is silicone, stretchy and adheres easily around the broken areas of pipe (we hammered the split area just to make the surface a bit more even). It holds up well to the heat, and the pressure, going through the pipe. And you can put it on wet pipe. Come spring we'll replace those pipes but for now this is fabulous! Not just for pipes; all sorts of uses. Keep some on hand, you never know when you'll need it.

Very flexible and lightweight to carry, good for emergency repair.

This tape sticks to itself such that after a few days you will have to slice it open to remove it. I used it to tape up the splices that I made to install auxilary lights on my truck. Although the splices are exposed to road dirt and weather, I am confident that they will last for the life of the truck.

This is great for repairing soaker hoses. Just wrap it, wait a day for it to cure and you're set to go. Much easier to use than duct tape, which I could never wrap carefully enough to get to work.I discovered that although it's great for a leaky hose, it doesn't work for a hose with an actual hole in it, say one that's 1/4" in diameter.

Pretty good for a soaker hose repair. Not perfect, but it's holding up very well.

Had to do a double wrap to stop leak in garden hose.

海外で人気だとかで知名度が高いだけでした。　強度はありますが。はずれ品だったんでしょうか。融着しますが剥がれます。そして水漏れに利用したかったのですが。外れてしようできませんでした１６００円返してほしいです・・・　プラスチックすらも固定することができません。とにかくいいレビューばかりで弾んで購入させていただきましたがプラスチックに使用を考えてる方はご注意ください。

温水管の漏れ、前回、アーロンテープでは、滲んでくるのでこのテープを買い、アーロンは動画通りカッターで３秒除去、十分引っ張って巻きました。途中１回切れました。アーロンほど丈夫でないけれど、融着性は良く、うまくできたと思ったら、やはり滲んできました。ふと、パンツの替えゴムを思いつき、百均で６本合わせの、６ｍものを購入、上からぎりぎりと、巻き締めました。１日たったのですが、ピッタリ止まったようです。１５００円の補修材が、１０５円追加で生きたようです。2018/3/5　追記その後、垂れてきて、保温材のテープ巻き戻してよく見れば、別の場所、早速注文、1090円！？安くなってるだけでなく、テープにつや、黒光りです。引っ張ると灰色に変化、わかりやすい。巻き上げて最後銅管折り返し巻き上げした所、テープの交差部でにじむ・・・。パンツのゴム、今回は黒ゴム6列と言うものを使用、ぎっちり巻いたら、止まった。＾＾；

車に１つ常備してます。今までお世話になった事例としては、パワステの油圧ホースからのフルード漏れ補修ラジエーターホース穴の応急修理耐圧性能的には車の油圧（シトロエンとか特殊なのを除く）であれば対応できます。あくまで応急処置ですが緊急時にはかなり役立ちます。

ステアリングポンプ用の高圧ホースの局部的な漏れを防ぐために使いました。ホースのみの部分は一時的には防げましたが、圧着部の漏れは防ぐ事が不可能でした。少し余ったので息子のテニスラケットのグリップに使いました。良かったです。
