I bought four brands of Turkish towels for beach towels, with a plan to buy more of the one I liked best for my bathroom. This one is my favorite of the bunch by far.First, I love the color. Having a denim towel is so unique, and I have received compliments from guests and fellow beach-goers. This has given me a chance to educate people on the well kept secret I wish I had learned earlier- Turkish towels are awesome!Next, this was the softest of the brands on arrival, although I gave the others 3 washings before making a final decision on comfort. One thing that was interesting to me is this is the only one that specified 100% Cotton. The other 3 said 100% Turkish Cotton (picture of this tag and one competing for comparison). If this is a different type of cotton, I'll feel a little misled...One of the other brands was SUPER soft after washing, however I bought a 4 pack of those towels, and 3 of 4 shrank. What was strange was that they shrank differently. One color shrank lengthwise, another shrank widthwise. One didn't shrink much, and the fourth shrank so much I won't use it. This and one other brand maintained their size the best, but I do think this may have shrunk a little in the width. Not enough to make me unhappy though. I will likely buy one or two more of the runner up brand (i have a very new need for lots of beach towels), since they offer more colors.These tassels were the thickest, nicest, and most uniform of the four. I spent 20 minutes making sure all of the tassel knots were tight before washing, because I didn't want them to get tangled. A suggestion to those of you without tassel experience, do this to save yourself frustration later! Thank you to the reviewers of other towels who suggested this tip.I plan to place an order four or five more of these to replace all of our traditional terry cloth bath towels very soon.I really wish there were more colors to choose from, and I would really appreciate if this company would make smaller ones so I can buy some to replace my hand towels. if they don't do this soon, I will be forced to buy anther brand.To seller / manufacturer: pretty please on both requests above?

This is one is probably the best Turkish towels I have ever purchased, and I have a lot of them from various brands and vendors. This is after 2 years of use, I have used it as a bath towel and also beach towel/blanket. As you can see some of the fringe is becoming undone but that is after many washings and drying so I will need to look at videos to tie the knots back. But still the fringe has not matted and messy like some of my other purchases of cheaper quality towels. It is pretty soft from the start but it gets even nicer with each wash. I like the denim color, shows no stains and is so versatile. Light enough but substantial enough to be quite absorbent and dries quickly. not only that, this towel has retained its size where some of my other ones have shrunken to half the size after drying in the machine. Would recommend a low setting if machine drying but I use a commercial dryer and have accidentally dried too high and it still survived. I highly recommend this and I purchased the coral color as well which is a very pretty also. There are so many designer brands now on the market but this is one has the quality and function of those you could pay a much higher price so definitely a great value.

Purchased this towel in April 2020. I was looking for a lightweight bath towel that I could use daily. I have used it almost everyday since purchasing and its still going strong without any issues. The only thing is that a couple of the tassels on the edge have come untied. I have been extremely pleased and will buy another when I need to.

Perfect all purpose towel. I took on an international trip and used as plane blanket/ scarf/ wrap/ beach towel. Not quite as light weight or fast drying as other peshtemel I’ve owned, but has a nice weight and is very soft.Minus one star for being slightly lighter color than pictured. More of a washed charcoal.

Insanely overpriced.

Initially I ordered the blue & they are a beautiful, medium shade. I just ordered 2 more in white, and can’t wait to get them. First of all, please know these are not thick, terry cloth towels, but thin tightly woven cotton. I like to use them during the summer months after showering, and they are great for a beach towel as they will not collect sand. When drying yourself off, be sure to rotate the towel around and use different sections—sounds like common sense, but it’s a different absorbency level from thick terry cloth. Before washing I tightened all of the fringe knots, and none have unraveled. They soften very nicely after washing, dry quickly, and of course air dry quickly too after use. I expect to enjoy these towels for many years, as they are very well made. They also make a great light weight throw. I’ll continue to order them!

I was interested in these towels because of their packability, but was skeptical of their absorbency. Bought this one in denim blue because of the high ratings, and also because I like the monochrome (no stripes) look. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by just how compact it folded down into, but both my husband and I said "no way will that be absorbent." Surprise! It's like drying off with a thicker very soft flour-sack dishcloth, but that doesn't convey how good it feels or how dry you get. You just have to try it, I guess. The other thing I like is that at the end, when I wrap it around myself to dry my hair or walk into the other room, it covers me up from chest to knees. Oh, and the color is beautiful; nice dye job. It's going in to my gym bag, and I think my YWCA girlfriends will all want one next.
