1Up did a great job of making it feel like real pinball
Update: Our machine developed the issue many report. It was actually just out of the manufacturers warranty but they state I am getting warranty customer pricing on the replacement part that is still in production? This is a known issue with several customers reporting the same issue. To be honest, they should supply the part for free as they make the end user do all the work whether you know what you are doing or not. I won’t be purchasing any additional arcade machines from one up. We treated the machine with the utmost care as we really enjoyed playing it. For it to fail for no apparent reason points to substandard parts that should have never been used. Basically I am sorry if my review put you in the same spot as the machine was wonderful when it worked. Others looking for a machine may want to consider the odds of it failing just out of warranty and steer clear. Old review starts below. This machine is absolutely stunning in appearance. The lighted marquee and scoreboard add realism to the overall look and feel of the machine. Assembly was not as horrid as I have seen reported. I did manage to somehow assemble the first two pieces incorrectly even though I was trying to be meticulous in the build. Overall, it took about an hour and a half to put everything together. All of the pieces fit really well. My only word of caution would be to leave the screws loose in the top assembly until you get the marquee in place. This applies to the step just prior to installing the marquee (piece I). It will go in much easier doing so. you can then tighten the screws. I also was very careful to stop on each fastener for the top portion as soon as they were tight. I did not want to over tighten any of the fasteners. I only noted one place on the machine where the graphics were "damaged" in boxing. It is a very small section on the back left of the machine. The decal was peeled up just a teeny bit from the edge. The leg will hold it from going further and is so minor it was barely worth mentioning. The one thing I am curious as to why they did not include software wise is a screen saver. I can only guess the manufacturer does not recommend the machine be on continuously. I have done some reading and have found that powering the machine on and off will not damage the electronic components (according to the research I have done). Honestly, this is a worry from my younger years when we were told that continuously turning items on and off not only wastes electricity, but could damage electronics. From what I read, that is no longer a concern with modern electronics. Game play is really good. The tables are varied and have a slew of specials you can unlock by doing certain combinations of ramps or targets. We have our favorites already, but will play most every table on a regular basis. It does appear the physics of the table seem to favor the player in some cases. This by no means makes the gameplay "easy". To give it a more real feel I have disabled the ball trails and limited the pop up scores (amounts of points showing all over the screen) as they can be a distraction when trying to track the ball when it is going sub warp speeds. Be cautious in a multiplayer game if your ball goes down the drain. Many of the games will continue the ball through various special features. My wife has stepped back for me to play and she had another ball that was released. We did not realize before the ball was out of play. The scoreboard on the upper portion really reminds me of the pinball machines I loved so much. The playing surface is actually larger than I imagined. I was quite happy about that. The flippers are responsive. The nudge feature does not seem to affect the balls behavior much even with the sensitivity turned up. We have only managed to "tilt" the machine once in all the play we have done. I get a little more "nudgie" when I play than my wife however she was the one that managed to register a "tilt". We are very pleased with our choice to get this machine, plus we got it for less than the original $750 price tag which in itself was a bonus. Now we just have to get our game corner in its final arrangement. The saddest part of all this is one of the other 1Up Arcade machines will need to be moved to a new location due to the sheer size of the pinball machine. We can live with that. The hard part is choosing which one and where it will be placed so it will not be far away from our mini arcade.

Beware of Arcade 1 up products
These digital pinball machines have amazing graphics and exciting games. We played for hours a night sometimes. Excellent quality in that regard However… We bought two digital pinball machines from arcade one up…the Star Wars and the Marvel The Marvel machine was our favorite, and the one we played the most unfortunately it only lasted about five months. I contacted customer service and after sending video of the inside and outside machine, they determined we needed a replacement part which cost $105. We paid for it to have it sent to us installed it exactly as they described and nothing changed… Just a blank screen with nothing loading anymore. We contacted them again and they said OK. Well you need this other part… Which they sent to us for free… Again, nothing changed. At this point, we ask them if there was a local source to work on these pinball machines or if we could send them back to them for a replacement or to be repaired… And they did not even respond Just basically took our money and ran with it including the extra $105 part About a year later, the Star Wars machine did the same thing You turn it on the screen goes blue… And then black and nothing loads I talked to local pinball technicians and they won’t even touch those machines because in their words “ there are no replacement parts cause they all come from arcade one up and they will not outsource them They added they are cheap junk parts anyways Now from what I’ve researched, they are out of business and in multiple lawsuits Now I have two worthless machines totaling upwards of $1800 Very disappointing I guess the one star is worth giving for the time we got to spend on the machines which was amazing This company on the other hand is tragic

Great investment! My kids and I love this!
Pretty simple to build. My 14 year old son and I built it together. I’ve loved Pinball since I was a child. This is a great alternative to a real pinball machine. I wasn’t sure if I’d like that the screen is electronic, however it adds a lot of different features and the characters to move which is awesome. We compete for first place on every map!

Better Than Expected
I contemplated this purchase for several months doing much research. Finally decided to make the purchase and glad I did. Set up was a breeze. I grew up with the original pinball machines so I was a bit skeptical of the digital version. I love it ! Several games to choose from with some more challenging than others so you never get tired of it. My 6 year old grandson quickly picked sup on it and loves it as well.
