Q: The battery that came with my wireless tv speaker has some type of padding on it and the compartment will not close. Is it removable? I had to tape it

Please up load a photo. I don't think any padding should be removed. What specifically do you mean by padding? Is it a new purchase? The battery in our lasted a long time but it expanded when it got older, then we used tape to keep it in. I ordered a new one that fit right in.

Q: Why would my battery swell up?

If you use AC adapter to power the speaker, please remember to take off the battery from speaker to protect battery. Please contact our support team or send Amazon message to us. We would like to send you a replacement.

Q: Unit "beeps" after about every minute or so. It is charged. Could this possibly need new battery? Only 5 months old.

The beep sound seems to be a low battery indication, how about the LED indicator? In addition, did you try to directly connect the speaker to the power supply to charge?

Q: When will this be in stock? My 95 year old mother in law loves this speaker, it works great, the battery just went out. I can't find a source anywhere

If the unit will no longer charge you can purchase a new battery. They sell the batteries on Amazon.
