Ebba-Viva Fairisles: Dynami's Wrath (Pirates of Felicity)

Kelly has done it again! I adore this series with everything in me. The fourth installment is by far my favorite and I will be impatiently waiting for the next one. All the characters in this series are so rich with personality and you can’t help but want to know more and love them all. I LOVE the banter between Ebba and Jagger and I’ve been rooting for Jagger since the beginning! So I’m anxiously awaiting to see where the triangle goes. Hats off to you Kelly and the beautiful world that you’ve created for your readers. I’m so excited to see what comes next in this adventure!!

The adventure continues as Ebba-Viva is pointed in a new direction for another piece of the weapon that could either defeat the six pillars or offset the balance between good and evil. But this time, when Ebba, Prince Caspian, and Jagger touch, they realize they must enter a place from which they may never return, the Dynami Sea. Along the way, each of her fathers begins to open up about the past they shared before sailing on Felicity. And Ebba finds herself in the difficult position of deciding where her heart lies, whether it is with Caspian or Jagger and what her choices might mean to the rest of her crew. We meet more mythical creatures and experience the risks and hazard such an adventure might entail.This story grows more exciting and challenging as the voyage goes on. Just when I thought I might know which direction they were headed, the author takes a sharp turn, and I'm surprised and astounded at the depth of her imagination. There are moments of humor and moments of intensity that stole my breath. The characters are vivid and animated, and the excitement is palpable. I am eagerly anticipating the next part of the adventure.

The journey continues this book as they set sail into dark waters to find the next part. I love that each part has its own distinct magical power that aids the crew. We meet more fantastical creatures as magic returns to the world. We also begin to get a bit of the answers to why Ebba/Jagger/Caspian in particular.What I really loved about this novel was the emotional journeys of the characters. Ebba's grown so much over the books and dealt with some harsh truths. She's realized she doesn't have to be just a pirate and explores concepts she discarded before to discover who she wants to be. Caspian is struggling with what happened at the end of book 3. All are trying to cope with the effects of the taint and the trauma it left behind. When someone faces what was taken from them and takes steps to reclaim it, I wanted to cry. It was beautifully done by Kelly.There are still lighter moments of humor, including some surprising facts that were unknown before that add some humor to the situation. Can't wait for the next one.

I have abandoned ship for all the right reasons: Jagger.I. Love. Him. SO. DAMN. MUCH.Honestly, these books just get better and better. I love the twists, I love the revelations, I love the interactions between characters, and I love the variety of mythology. I'm dreading nearing the end of this series because I have a bad feeling that there are character deaths incoming and that not all of Ebba's fathers are going to make it out of this alive.

Another chapter in Ebba Vivas story and another step forward in finding the truth behind why and how Ebba Viva, Jagger, Caspian and the crew of Felicity are meant to work together to save the Exosian Realm. I got a few things I wanted in this story and am still waiting for a few more so all in all a great addition to the series. One of the best things of this series is the resolution of the central problem of this book while getting clues and hints about the larger conflict. Watching Ebba Viva mature and her relationships grow us another pleasure. I still think shes being a little head in the sand about some of them but I know they will all come to right in the end.I received an ARC copy of this book but have bought and will buy all of Ebba's books.

This book wasn't as enjoyable to me because of all the flirty talk between Ebbs and the two P's; Prince and pirate. Also there is some confusion going on about the giant god-bird, the hawk-headed humans and Medusa. I must have missed something along the way of all the other books, but I don't remember needing 6 pieces to find the weapon to defeat the six pillars. Guess I'll just have to read the next book!!

Dynami's Wrath has given me all the feels! I love Pirates of Felicity so much!“You’ll hurt their feelings.” “Their fault for havin’ them,” Ebba said flippantly. I gotta remember this quote....she'd been staring at him like a bloody nufty. " Nufty" I learned a new word! 😂 The part where Peg Leg gave himself permission to face his fears made me cry. I love Ebba Viva and her fathers. Love is powerful. ❤

Totally enjoyable installment! This one seemed to move the emotional plot along more than the storyline...the storyline does move, don’t get me wrong - but character development and backstory insight was more prevalent than the constant action of prior books. The different pacing was a bit surprising but it worked really well...cannot wait for the next one!!

Book four of this series and I'm still in love with it. I'll admit that I wasn't completely sold at the beginning of the very first book but the author, Kelly St Clare weaved her magic into the writing again, that I was very shortly hooked. Throughout each book since I've fallen more in love with Ebba-Viva and her crew.In Dynami's Wrath Ebba has really grown, particularly with all that she's gone through. Jagger and Caspian are now part of the crew and an important part. We learn a lot more about Jagged in this book and start to see who he really is, deep down below all that taint. Ebba's relationship with both Caspian and Jagger also steps up a notch. Now I know who's team I'm firmly on and that's the flaxen haired one, but I'm not sure which way it's going to play and although I like Caspian, I don't feel that he is strong enough for the whirl wind of a person that Ebba is. We also learn a bit more about one of Ebba's fathers past and I love how Ebba has now reached a level of maturity that she can help guide them past what they did previously. I love how myths from different cultures are tied into these books and one character we meet in this book is famous from the Greek myths.I really enjoyed Dynami's Wrath, it kept me entertained and riveted to the story. I really feel like I'm part of Ebba's crew whilst I'm reading it and that I'm right alongside them all in their adventure. I'm looking forward to book five and I can't wait to see what capers they all get tangled up in next. Five stars from me and one I will definitely read again.

This is an incredible series and each book is such a fun read. This author is one of my favourites because she is an awesome story teller, intertwining humour, love, heart ache, adventure, plot twists and world building so seamlessly and effortlessly it’s a joy to get lost in the worlds she creates. Ebba is such a wonderful character and I love the chemistry that’s continuing to develop between her and Caspian and Jagger, keeping readers gripped to the unfolding potential love story - I love it!!!!!! Her fathers and their relationship with Ebba is believable and full of love, their shared history is strong. Yay Ebba is back and she's still as awesome as ever. She's slowly starting to accept that she can be a pirate AND a girl and it's so cute to watch her grow up! She wears a dress voluntarily!Ebba, her Dad's and Jaspian (still on team Jagger folks!) all return and meet Medusa on their way in their quest to obtain all the artifacts to take the pillars down.Looking forward to reading the next one!

I’m absolutely loving this series - Amazing writing and humour. The romance is starting to creep in, the plots are getting thicker and it’s great to watch our female lead grow up and embrace her femininity- in her own terms. Another must read from Kelly st Clare
