Android Phones for Seniors in easy steps: Updated for Android version 10 Paperback – 18 Jan. 2022

UntiI now I have used windows phones always but they are now really defunct so Android or Apple it has to be. I am now well senior with little experience of android and have stumbled around in using it,. Furthermore Phone instructions are written by nerds and are almost incomprehensible and always soporific. The author of this book has to be congratulated, it is clear and as readable as a good novel and gives a real insight into android. it is appropriately illustrated and is highly recommended.

As a senior, I need to know more about how to simply/ manage use my smart phone from making phone calls and receiving them. Plus the internet.. Great value.

Well written, with nothing taken for granted in the way of previous knowledge. Great stuff.

As a complete beginner with android phones this book is easy to read and gives a lot of basic information. However, in my opinion, it does not give enough information on security or how to stop the phone updating itself just when you want to take it out.

As a near 90 year-old pensioner with my FIRST smartphone I needed help to right-away how to use the Motorola Mobo g50 Android device.Whilst this book is helpful in parts purchasers should be aware that a) the 5 principal makers ALL have their differences in screen content/layout/icon design and or colour. b) my Edition of the book covers Android Version No 10, whereas my Mono runs on Version 11 AND the makers of the phone have just announced the (free) availability of Version 12! So, don't expect to find out how to top-up your credit or how to deal with procedures which have born modified by Android up-dates.

The book is well written and a simple to use reference book for the basics, but it misses out a lot. Ended up ordering a hard copy of the phones manual to find out how to use my phone.
