Esschert Design Small Doormat in Antique Brown - Rectangle 24" x 14"

This is a heavy, charming, and practical 'grate' for the front porch - wiping one's feet and knocking the dirt, dust, and nuclear waste off before entering the house. Nifty, swirly design, classic kind of look, yet with a contemporary look. Decent price. I think "doormat" isn't really the right word for what seems like an iron grating -- but so be it. It works for us, just read the description, consider the price, and know you're getting a heavy piece of iron. It looks more black than brown to me...and more medium than small.

I don't know why but it's very hard to find an iron doorway mat for outside. I love this one. It's just what I was looking for; nice design and color. However, it's a little small and I wish I could find a larger one. I bought two and will use together.

Love this doormat! Except we're not using it as a doormat. We've used it to create a door for our Alice in Wonderland garden project.

This is very attractive but it is small (that is not a complaint about Amazon or the manufacture as the size was correctly stated). The mat serves my purpose of having a door mat that is raised and is not sitting entirely on my deck -- only the rubber feet sit on the deck. There are limited options for wrought iron door mats (most are rubber "look a likes"). Why I rated this a 4 is I am not sure how sturdy this will be and if it will stand up over the years. I replaced wrought iron door mats that I had for 15 years and were now just showing their age. I am not sure I will have the same results with these but they are attractive and meet my needs.

It is true to size. However, I do wish I had ordered the larger one for our front entry. This size is great for a backdoor.
