Q: Are they bpa free? chemical free? non toxic?

Package says they are latex free. I would think the other stuff wouldn't be a concern for most people, as these are ear plugs and not something that should be ingested.

Measured in decibels (db) snoring falls between 60 and 90 decibels, normal talking is about 60 db, a vacuum cleaner 70 db, and a chainsaw 100 db, a quiet room is about 40-45 db. Using industry calculations a NRR 33 db rated hearing protector reduces sound by 13 db. This makes my sleep more comfortable but not soundless. I still have to nudge the person next to me to get them to re-position and reduce their volume.

I wouldn't- I used them on the range a few times now in the rain. The more wet they got- they more sound I heard. I don't know if they were completely dried out after washing- maybe. But I threw them away as they were much smaller once wet.
