Sweet strings, have a great sound. Takes 2-3 days before they are cured and hold tuning.

Great strings
Sound great, look great. They needed a while to settle in, like a couple days. I always tune new strings up a semitone sharp and wiggle them vigorously in order to help the break-in process. The low string is wound so it naturally has a brass color -- typical for most nylon string sets. But few swipes with a black sharpie ink pen gave it a black color to match the other strings.

I will buy again
My 8-string ukulele needed new strings and a friend suggested these. Initial play sounds really good but the jury is out until I see if it can withstand the rigors of playing at least an hour or two a day.

Nice strings, however keep de-tuning after a week.
Nice strings.Unfortunately, they keep going out of tune after a week. Maybe I did not secure them properly. They do sound nice, with a nice metallic sound form the 4th.Update: after a few weeks, they don't detune anymore and still sound great!

If you want bright tone, fingerpicking, arpeggios or strum, you’ll hear each note.
Great tone, bright with good sustain. The wound low g does not overpower. Looks good and not so hard on the fingers.Definitely good string set, compares well with the lava sets.

These work good for me, Wish the wound was red, Bring them up slow folks
IMHO these are better than the Nylaguts of days past. I use wedgie medium rubber 3.1 picks, the combination is working out great.I like this set for my MELE tenor 8-string. I do swap out the wound G for a Aquila red because the winding will fail the way I play. Just bring them up slow, lift the string out of the nut while tightening as long as you can and leave them overnight when half way up to pitch. I takes me 2 days to first hit full tuning then another week or so before they become more or less stable. Haven't broken one yet using this technique.

It’s ok.... I guess
Well.... I don’t know if it’s exactly what I was looking for. They sound ok but it didn’t take long for me to snap a string unfortunately. The sound is a bit more sharp then I was looking for. Since the one string snapped I an thinking I will probably replace all of them and go for strings that are a bit softer sounding. They are nice and loud. With it being the 8 string though, and me being more on the beginning level, I’m going to look for a softer set that’s a bit easier on the fingers as well. When playing chords I noticed the strings not fully connecting as I would like them to for a fully clear sounding chord. Keeping it in tune has been challenging too but it might just be the uke itself... so maybe these strings are for the more advanced player? It’s a good brand. I’ve used their strings on other instruments I’ve had so I would go with the brand again.... just not for this one.

Fine set of strings
Most ukuleles come with a set of Aqulias installed, and I'd moved most of my ukes to other brands. When I bought an 8-string uke, I thought I'd take the plunge and try some of these out.And...they're good! A little warmer than the standard white strings, they make my Luna HTT 8-string sound quite clear and mandolin-like if you want to play that way, but give a nice tone. I still find it a little strange that the low G string is wound, but it still sounds good. The only reservation is one I normally find with Aquila strings - they take at least a week to settle into tuning, and they stretch a lot, so you may have to take some of the slack out by rewinding the strings. Once settled, they're fine.Recommended, or at least give a set a try.
