No water bottle. could hold a 500ml (16 oz) bottle

This expands to huge!! I had to cinch it in then sew another 8” closed.

Q: what are the dimensions of this product including the water bottle holder

The water bottle is for a very small bottle I am only able to fit my keys and phone and a few snacks

Q: I am unclear about the waterproof aspect of this item. If it rains, will my stuff get wet?

Yes. I was walking with this about a month ago and got caught up in a rain burst and everything in this bag to include my cell phone was dry.
