My De’Longi Dinamica Plus …. It’s my new best friend. I have had mine for about 6 months now and absolutely LOVE everything about it. It is well engineered and designed. Love that the water tank is on the side so it’s easy to add water without dragging the whole unit out (required with tanks on the back of machines.) Love that it auto tamps the grounds. Love that it is easy to clean. Love that it makes a wonderful cup of cappachino.The only criticism - and I mean only - I wish it would give an alert when descaling and/or changing filters is coming close so I could plan for it. It’s heartbreaking when I go to make my morning cup and the machine mandates the 45 minute descaling process before I can make a cup. I also wish it would let you enter in the size of your glass and let you choose another shot of espresso if you’d like - I set my profile to a big clear glass cup, but it needs a second shot of espresso which is totally separate step to really sing.Fabulous machine - so so much better than the Breville I had previously bought and returned.

My husband and I love this machine. We will in a rural area so not much coffee options around especially in the early morning. I love the taste and smell. I love how easy it is to maintain and clean. I love the simplicity. You can't mess it up. The only thing I would change is the height of the spout to accommodate a standard tumbler and the ability to brew more than just a cup. I usually have to use a smaller cup and then pour it into my thermos.

First, On opening the package and assembling the unit, I noticed the burr grinder knob was in the wrong position; opposite to what was shown in the pamphlet. Nevertheless; I didn't think it would be an issue and figured I could still turn the knob to select how finely ground my beans were. I was wrong. No matter which position I turned the knob to modify the size of the grounds, it did little to change the size of the grounds or change the intensity of the coffee, it all was weak. The unit only poured brewed coffee into my cup for the first 3 seconds and then it filled my cup with a watery brew after that. I made well over 30 attempts to brew a flavorful latte, cappuccino, espresso, and American coffee following the instructions on how to change the grounds size, coffee intensity, quantity, etc. No matter how many changes I made, all of the efforts resulted in the same: a very weak brewed coffee. The only positive I can say about this machine is that the automatic latte creama system worked great and was super convenient. But the subpar brewing system overshadowed that feature. I would NOT recommend this product at all. It does not function anything like it was described and was way too expensive to have it perform so poorly producing weak coffee that tasted exactly the same for every type of coffee selected. My Keurig makes a much better cup of drip coffee than this product. A total waste of $$ and unfortunately, I no longer can return it. I've reached out to De'Longhi customer support. Hopefully they will rectify the situation.Update: DeLonghi would not honor the warranty because they said Wyoming Distributors, who sold me the unit, was not an authorized retailer. I contacted Amazon & they reached out to Wyoming Distributors, who sent me a prepaid shipping label and who fully refunded my purchase.

I bought this DeLonghi Dinamica Plus Coffee Machine as a retirement gift for my husband in December 2023. It was a gift for him, but I get to use it too, so win-win! We've been using it almost a year, and we love it! It works exactly as we expected, and we use it every. single. day.Setting it up was very straight forward. We didn't have any problems with that at all. The grind was already set to the optimal setting, so we've never messed with that. We have used the ground coffee option because we had some ground coffee left from before. We found out the hard way that you have to wait for it to tell you to put in the ground coffee. If you don't, the grounds go straight through! Lesson learned.When we first got it, we both used the milk frother a lot. But now we tend to make coffee and just add cream. We save using the frother for a special coffee treat now and then. The manual recommends using skim milk, and it is correct that you get more froth that way, but we use whole milk and haven't been disappointed.We don't use the app very much now, if ever. But the app was helpful in setting up our individual profiles. We set up our own profiles and saved our preferred coffee "recipes," and now it's just an unused app on our phones. But who knows... we might use it more in the future.I did a lot of research before purchasing this coffee machine. DeLonghi is an Italian brand with an excellent reputation. And the reviews for this model were very good, even on other sites. It took me a good six months to decide on this one, but I'm glad I got it. We're extremely happy with it. I would buy it again.And now, I think I'll go make a cappuccino. Ciao!

It makes delicious coffee = espresso and cappuccinos. However, it is extremely loud and requires a long TOO often decalcifying process. You have to do it every two weeks and I do Not have hard water. If I had it to do over I would not have gotten it. I would have bought the manual esspresso machine. If you do not take the milk out of the large tank before you hi clean is spoils the milk. You can only put enough milk for your one or two coffees, take the milk out and then hit rinse.
