i bought this textbook for class and the content is pretty good. the readings are quite interesting and the curriculum is laid out well

Just started on it, but so far I like it.

Perfect gift for my granddaughter studying Japanese

Apparently amazon doesnt like me writing about just how bad the audio is.. and keeps saying its inappropriate. So ill try to be nicer.. whoever approved the audio in these books needs to have their job reevaluated, it is absolutely awful. After every line someone says something you can hear the actor/actress or someone in the back flipping a page for another line, smacking their lips, taking another breath, whatever in the back. Its incredible just how bad it is and it was approved. I have no idea how this was even approved just mind blowing really how distracting it is. Its torture to listen to anything in this book series.
