The Slim line 35107 has an on and off switch and this one has a touch on and off switch with 4 adjustable levels light

What is the power source for this lamp? does need an adapter for ac power? or does have a regular ac plug? product description says it needs a 12v bat

The lamp attaches to table or any hard surface. It has an ac adapter that plugs into the shaft of the lamp. Wonderful for doing my crocheting and with the use of it am able to use black and navy-blue yarn. Great product. Never had any problems.
